This beautiful piece was played by I Solisti Veneti (an Italian chamber orchestra founded in Padua in 1959 by Claudio Scimone). Claudio Scimone was the conductor. Jacques LANCELOT was the clarinet player. It is provided through archive.org.

Rossini was barely 18 when he wrote this piece, originally for clarinet in C, but it is now almost always played on the conventional B flat instrument. It has almost nothing in common with his later opera overtures...
