Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar reported an attack on the region on the night of September 18.
According to him, more than 50 drones were shot down over Bataysk, Taganrog, Rostov, Azovsky, Myasnikovsky, Aksaysky, Kamensky and Matveyevo-Kurgansky districts.
In Bataysk, the glazing of a private home was damaged; in Azov, five private homes and four cars were damaged, as well as gas pipes in four houses, which resulted in the gas supply being cut off; in the Neklinovsky district, the roofing and glazing of eight apartment buildings and four cars were damaged, he wrote.
According to Astra, this was another massive attack on Rostov-on-Don, which began around midnight. Local residents complained in the comments that they hadn't heard air raid sirens and didn't know where the shelters were.
Supernova+ claims that the airbase has come under attack again. Ukrainian forces already attacked the Rostov-on-Don-Tsentralny military airfield on the night of September 17. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the day before that the downing of two An-12 aircraft, two An-26 aircraft, and three more helicopters had been confirmed.
