Arlington police fatally shoot man in mental crisis

An officer-involved shooting in Arlington left a 50-year-old man dead after police responded to a mental health crisis. Officers were called to a home on West Lovers Lane where the man was reportedly threatening suicide. During the encounter, the man allegedly charged officers with a knife, leading an officer to open fire.
