I Painted a Giant Deer on My Cabin Floor | Peaceful Off-Grid Living

On this peaceful day at my forest cabin, I worked on several projects that brought the place one step closer to the life I imagined. I cleared the land, brought in a large water tank, and set up a simple water system for the cabin.

Inside, I hand-painted a giant deer on the wooden floor and surrounded it with colorful geometric motifs. As the sun began to set, I hung a hammock on the porch and enjoyed the quiet evening with my dogs.

Later that night, I continued crafting a handmade leather bag by lantern light. I warmed some bread on the wood stove and prepared a simple meal with tomatoes and cheese. As the night grew darker, storm clouds gathered and lightning illuminated the distant hills. It was a powerful ending to a peaceful day in nature.
