Mom accused of trying to kill herself, 2 adult sons with autism

Marilyn Thorell of Osceola County has been arrested after confessing to attempting to kill her two adult sons, ages 30 and 32, and herself. Thorell claimed she was overwhelmed by the challenges of caring for her sons, who both have autism, following the death of her husband last year. All three were hospitalized after a drug overdose; the sons are expected to recover.
