Seattle street closed due to paint not coming off

The city of Seattle is facing a challenge with stubborn paint left on 9th Avenue between Pike and Pine streets. Originally applied for a market event in August, the paint remains visible despite efforts to remove it using pressure washers and chemical removers. The Department of Transportation indicates the street cannot be fully restored until the area is repainted to standard.
