Iceland might be one of the closest places on Earth to another planet.

In this documentary, I’m taking you with me on the ultimate road trip through South Iceland, a place of enormous glaciers, black volcanic landscapes, powerful waterfalls and some of the most breathtaking and unique scenery I’ve ever seen.

But as always, I wanted to go beyond just the landscapes.

We get up close to one of Iceland’s glaciers, visit waterfalls and black sand beaches, see puffins in the wild, learn more about the forces that created this island, try Icelandic food and discover some of the more unexpected parts of the country along the way.

And eventually, we make our way to the coast, where I somehow end up with a fishing rod in my hands under the Icelandic midnight sun.

I went into this trip with pretty high expectations for Iceland, but it genuinely surprised me. This is one of those places where even driving from one location to the next feels like part of the adventure.
