Uganda suspends military cooperation with Turkey amid political tensions

A political commentator faces 15 criminal charges, including incitement to violence and computer misuse. In response, supporters of the Patriotic League of Uganda protested at the Turkish embassy in Kampala. Consequently, the Uganda People's Defence Forces have suspended all military cooperation with Turkey until outstanding issues are resolved.
