Beach replenishment and downtown flood mitigation project coming to Sea Bright

Seabright is implementing a multi-million dollar infrastructure plan to combat chronic flooding and shoreline erosion. The strategy combines a beach replenishment project starting this fall with a $2.5 million bond-funded initiative to upgrade bulkheads, pump stations, and check valves to eliminate disruptive nuisance flooding in the downtown area and highlands.
