Moncton firefighters report fewer overdose calls since spring spike

A surge in overdose calls in Moncton, which peaked in late May due to street drugs contaminated with the animal tranquilizer medetomidine, has finally subsided. Daily calls dropped from as many as 50 back to a historical average of five.
