Procedures not followed in Parker Wells 911 call, city says

The City of Calgary has admitted to critical failures in the 9-1-1 response following the disappearance of 11-year-old Parker Wells, a non-verbal autistic child. A review revealed that operator errors delayed the police response by nearly an hour, a failure that occurred despite sufficient information being available to trigger a priority one search.
