COLOMBIA ADVANCES TO THE SEMI-FINALS | FIFA U-20 WOMEN'S WORLD CUP 2026™ HIGHLIGHTS

Nigeria were rampant in the round of 16, sweeping England aside. Now they face a Columbia team who knocked out the hosts to reach this quarter-final. Good touch by Akeka Romolo. Brilliant touch and the strike crashes off the crossbar. So congested in that central area though from Columbia as they look to defend their box. As they go for goal and that's a decent stop. I'm not sure she was expecting that. It looked like it was going to come in as a cross. Nigeria go short. Here is Tosin Refew on the edge of the box. Comes back to her on the strike that time. Nigeria don't deal with that. Columbia could be in behind and it was Silva again for Columbia. That was a bit of a high foot. Oh and she could be in trouble. Here she is. Red card. Nigeria down to 10 players. Mafisare, the player, shown a straight red. Ortegon helps it through. Here's Loboa in on goal to win it. Still Loboa and she's done it. Columbia score late again. Valerie Loboa with her first goal at this Women's Under-20s World Cup. And that is it then. Columbia are into the semi-finals. Full-time score Nigeria nil, Columbia won.
