Venezuelan DoorDash driver Wilber Garces Perez, 28, was shot by ICE officers during a traffic stop in Austin, Texas, leaving a bullet lodged in his back. His attorney says Garces Perez was sideswept by an unmarked ICE vehicle and shot after attempting a U-turn. The Department of Homeland Security says Garces Perez was involved in a “vehicle pursuit” and was trying to flee. His attorney, Kate Lincoln-Goldfinch, joins “CUOMO” to discuss the shooting and Garces Perez’s detention. Former acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf also weighs in.

Patrick Clancy spoke publicly for the first time since his ex-wife's trial ended in a mistrial. Lindsay Clancy was charged with the deaths of their three children in 2023. His emotional interview came as her defense team sought to have the murder charges dismissed and asked the judge to investigate a holdout juror. Rusty Yates, whose five children were drowned by their mother, Andrea Yates, shares his perspective as a husband who experienced a similar tragedy. Criminal defense attorney Mark Eiglarsh also joins the conversation.
