Milwaukee woman survives rare brain disorder

Alicia Botsford, a nurse and mother, shares her harrowing experience of suffering a stroke and being diagnosed with Moyamoya disease. Despite the rarity of the condition and the challenges of undergoing multiple brain surgeries while raising a toddler, she successfully recovered through specialized care at UW Health and the support of her community.
