Family sues Oregon hospital after driving dead son back to Seattle

A King County family has filed a $10 million lawsuit against Salem Hospital in Oregon. The parents of an eight-month-old boy, who died after a medical emergency during a trip, allege that hospital staff negligently forced them to transport their son's body back to Seattle in their own personal vehicle, causing extreme emotional distress and compounding their grief.
