This is the community where I grew up - and I’ve never witnessed anything like this. Homes torn apart - some totally blown away, roads washed away, massive landslides, trees everywhere, and families trying to figure out how to rebuild their lives after Hurricane Melissa swept through.
When I reached up there, one resident summed it up in one line:
“It’s like a bomb dropped.” And honestly… that’s exactly how it felt standing in the middle of it all.
In this final video of the series, I take you deep into Beeston Spring and even further into the Left Hall area, so you can see the true extent of the devastation — not just the destruction, but the faces, the emotions, and the resilience of a community determined to rise again.
