I tested the BellePierre BB Cream (Dark) to see if it really matches deeper skin tones. Here’s my honest review on the shade, coverage, and how it wears throughout the day.
❌ Shade too light for me
✔ Lightweight & blendable

This is a BB cream.
It's called the Derma Renew.
It's in dark with the SPF 20.
I am honestly I'm actually not a fan of BB creams.
I won't lie.
But I wanted this.
Like I said, they sent it to me.
I asked for this because I just wanted to see if I could be I could change,
you know, if I could actually find something that works for me.
And I know it's not going to just take one product,
but at least I can start somewhere other than beauty supply makeup
and just figure out what I actually like.
Now, this packaging definitely gives me like L'Oreal vibes.
I'm thinking or maybe something like that, but definitely
is like a high quality packaging.
I really like that.
And yeah, I got dark because I think there are only three shades
is available on my Amazon storefront.
Oh, yeah.
If you've ever tried BB cream, go ahead and comment down below.
Let me know.
How do you like it?
Do you still use it?
What do you use?
What brand do you like?
What do you recommend?
But let's see.
This is how the handle comes, the dispenser.
Now, mind you, this is dark.
I got dark, right?
OK, not like that.
I'm just saying, like, this is why I got it.
Because, you know, you just never know.
It's a BB cream.
If you're unaware, BB creams are basically supposed to be like that.
I guess nowadays they're called tinted moisturizer,
where it's supposed to be like some type of moisturizing cream
that basically blends into the natural color of your skin.
So that's why there's only so many colors or like bases,
because it's naturally supposed to go into your skin
and kind of blend with it.
So this is it.
I'm not going to put it on my face.
I think I put a little too much.
It has a really nice consistency.
But as you see, for this to be dark, I'm not sure about that.
I kind of do want to put it on my face just to see.
I don't know.
I can't tell because I'm not in like a good enough light.
Yeah, you see that?
It's like a white, has a white cast to it for me.
I think I don't think I can be a BB cream type of person.
It's just not one of those products that are black woman friendly,
to be really honest with you.
And that's completely OK.
Wanted to see what it looks like, how it comes.
That's how it comes.
Maybe that color will work for you.
Definitely. I will still make sure that I link it.
