When Dementia Keeps You on Your Toes | Mixed Shoes, Moving Furniture & Mama’s Sass

In today’s episode of Divas and Dementia, it was another unpredictable day with Mama. When I arrived, she was moving furniture like she owned the place, wearing mismatched shoes, and ready to sing her heart out — even serenading my sister over the phone. 🎶

I also had to step in and advocate for her meal (because caregiving means watching everything — even lunch time).

These moments may look funny to some, but this is real life with dementia. Every visit brings laughter, frustration, advocacy, and grace all rolled into one. 💜
