N.J. Gov. Mikie Sherrill announces Lt. Gov. Dale Caldwell’s resignation

N.J. Gov. Mikie Sherrill announced the resignation of Lt. Gov. Dale Caldwell on Friday, following an independent investigation into allegations of inappropriate behavior and violations of state workplace and ethics policies. Caldwell’s resignation comes one day after Sherrill called for him to step down.
