Stoat runs down a Hare

Even though stoats are smaller than rabbits, they are very agile and are skilled hunters. They are able to use their speed and agility to their advantage when stalking and capturing their prey. Stoats are also equipped with sharp teeth and claws that they use to kill their prey.

They may bite the neck or head of their prey to deliver a lethal bite, or they may use their claws to attack and kill their prey. Stoats are also known to be fierce and tenacious, and they will continue to attack their prey until it is dead. So even though they are smaller than rabbits, they are still able to kill them through their hunting skills and predatory instincts.
