Hocus Pocus house tour — step inside the Ropes Mansion & Garden in Salem, Massachusetts, the 1727 historic home used as the exterior filming location for Allison’s house in the beloved 1993 cult classic. The Ropes Mansion is preserved by the Peabody Essex Museum, along with the beautiful historic garden tucked behind it.

Generations of the Ropes family lived here, and the house remains filled with their furniture, artwork, ceramics, silver, textiles, and personal belongings — preserving more than two centuries of family history inside.
