Jeffrey from Real Nifty Vintage tours a massive 70,000-square-foot antique mall in Inverness, Florida. He explores a vast array of curated booths featuring mid-century furniture, rare glassware, and eclectic folk art. The visit highlights the mall's impressive scale, its recent opening, and the discovery of rare collectibles, including a Franciscan Ivy coffee mug and saucer.
What is this? Goober and Gooberette?
And there's pigs too.
Everyone's just happy to be here.
They're saying yes. Everyone, yes?
Hello, it's Jeffrey with Real Nifty Vintage
and today we are shopping at Florida's
largest antique mall. Let's go.
We are here at the largest antique
mall in Florida, here in
Inverness, and it is called
Antique Mall. Actually, I don't know the name
of this mall. Florida's Antique
Mall. That's the name of it with the little alligator
guy. Let's see what we can
find.
All of these cases here, when you first walk in,
a ton of showcases.
That would almost likely glow under blacklight,
which I don't have with me. Oh, they do have a blacklight
in there. It's kind of bright, though, to see
it. This place is pretty huge. It's
about 70,000 square feet.
So I'm just going to choose a direction and go.
Wow. This is
really well curated
with all the black and white.
It's very striking. These booths
are really well done.
Like this one here, look, they
painted the blue.
It's a whole moment happening.
This one is $49.
It's really not a bad price, because
the frame alone is so cool.
Look at this little guy, a little chipmunk.
Are you a chipmunk?
It looks like copper.
No, wait. Those are those things you whack.
That's one of those whacking things.
I mean, we don't want to whack it, but
that's the only context I know them in.
Moles? Are they moles?
And there's this one.
Armadillo.
$69.
Or, no.
$29. My gosh.
I love this. Do you see it?
Do you see it? It's right here.
Look.
All these little dots.
And then the shelf here.
That's part of it, the mirror.
$99 is really not bad, because I've never seen
anything quite like it. It's very
folk art. Wait, that's for that.
Oh, here it is.
Vintage wood double crescent
moon. Where's the moons? Oh!
Those are moons.
I didn't put that together.
But yeah, they are moons.
And there's little staircases to get to them.
That is so good.
This whole booth is corral. They've got
the rosemary pattern.
They have the spring blossom.
They've got blue onion.
Farm fresh.
I see a 35% off sale.
Looks like it's lots of
depression glass.
Or, well, carnival glass.
There's a lot of carnival glass.
Langeberger. There's a whole bunch of cases
in the back here. Many of them are open.
Which I like a lot. I mean, no glass.
You can touch all you want.
This is really pretty.
Napka ware, or
Leften. One of the two.
$26. That's a nice little sleigh.
Mmm. Sleigh.
Sleigh. What is this?
What is this? What are you?
What are you trying to be?
Handmade homemade bow.
Black and gold with beads.
Large.
It's very organic, look.
All the little crusty edges.
And it has the beads.
This one is just what it is.
$20. And they have like a
whole wood factory here with the cutting boards.
And then
this is all glassware.
More glassware. I love glass.
Look at this Balthamian.
Czechoslovakian.
$23.
It's cut to clear.
It's all crystal
and it's cut. Fused glass there.
Ceramic and fused glass.
You're pretty.
Mmm.
Look at this one. $17. It has a little lid.
Two pieces.
This is one piece.
It's not as good as piece number two.
Look at that. Corn cobs.
Are you corn?
Or is it just...
What is that? I don't know.
Elongated berries.
That area is kind of more open.
Like maybe they are accepting
new people. Maybe.
There's some booze there.
There's like something devoid of anything there.
And then also over here
there's space for dancing.
I've always liked this floor.
Not this exact floor because I've never been here.
But it's called terrazzo.
And it's kind of an Italian
vibe.
But sometimes you go to really fancy
city halls and things. Old historic
places and they've got patterns cut out.
It's just cool sometimes, you know?
They've got a whole light kit thing for a stage
and then the guitars.
And then speakers. Oh my gosh.
You really can find
anything here.
Maybe they've got a department with guys.
Single guys.
I really like this table.
It has the formica top.
But then also it has like the pattern
kind of going into it. Like this mid-century
design. And then the chairs
which are
so cool. Look they've got this wire
this wire back here.
The black. How much have we got here for this?
$2.85 for all
of it. And then the fabric
itself is in okay shape.
It's this old like stiff
wipeable thing.
Stiff and wipeable. This is one of the
highest priced black rotary phones I've ever seen.
$95
for a western electric.
I assume western electric.
They usually are. But
yeah. Western electric black.
It's not even a color.
You're not even colored.
You're black.
I see something that's really cool. Do you think it's old though?
Do you know what I'm looking at?
I'm going to get closer. Do you know what I'm looking at?
What about now?
That's new.
Bottle holder. Oh she holds your liquors.
There's her sister.
She's gold.
And then a fireplace screen next
to it. And the brass.
This has like a telescope
is that the word? It like fans out
on each side like a peacock's feather kind of
a thing. I've sold many of these
in the past and they do pretty well.
Shipping is annoying.
This one $98.
That's a different one than
I've seen before.
It has the yin
and yang on top.
Looks like fish scales doesn't it?
The way that it is.
It's cool he's an A.
But look has two
handles.
It's $125.
It's an interesting
shape I haven't really seen before.
Whoa. Look at the writing
on the bottom of this one.
Has quite a lot of vacancies.
All them big squares.
There's whatever this is supposed to be
over here. That's open.
Traditionally that's not really my style.
I'm allergic to cats but I like that.
It has something going on.
$110. Framed
paint by number. Are your paint by number?
It's like walking into different people's houses
the way they design these things.
This is really cool. I like that table
specifically. But I mean you look here
and then you look over there and
you got one extreme, another
extreme, another extreme.
That's the benefit
of antique malls is all of the
variety. $22
for
oh you get the pair of these.
Really? Not enough for resale
for me to buy it and then resell it but
it's a good price. They did a good job.
Congrats. Look at that chair.
It has like Mother of Pearl in the back.
There's Pearl and her mother.
And then all the woodwork and
the little cushion.
The little cushion. It's Chinese
of course. $250
Chinese Rosewood Emperor's
chair with inlay and yellow
silk cushion.
Look at that though.
And it's 35% off.
So that's good too.
There is a ton of vacancies here so there's
more there. And then I noticed this
entire room back here
which showcases and look
look how empty they are.
And then I had to look online
because I was like what's going on?
This place is only new from
November of 2024 so it's been
what like a year and a half
open? That makes a lot of sense.
Makes a lot of dollars and cents.
Hey, can you lend a hand?
Oh, I guess not.
Love Barrister's bookcases and they've
got three.
Apparently they like them too.
And this one is probably my favorite
because of the wood tone and everything.
They're just so good.
See, they like them a lot. Not for sale.
Yeah, of course not.
But these are Barrister's bookcases
they're lawyers' bookcases
and they're stackable.
So this here stacks
independently on top of each one of those.
So they all can be pulled apart
made taller, made shorter.
And then these are on a track
and then you do one of these kinds of deals
and then now your books don't get dusty.
And who wants dusty books?
No one.
That's why we don't have books anymore.
My gosh, this looks like a wedding.
Kind of reminds me of
the wedding in Twilight, actually.
Love the style.
It's like Boho, Gilligan's Island.
I would say like when I go to the estate sales
these people are my competition.
That is so cool. I like it.
Are you good or are you not good? You look pretty good.
It's just an interesting shape.
And her! She's happy
to be here, clearly, but
$225.
It's a light. Oh my gosh.
So there's like a whole central area. We pretty much got
through the majority of it. There's still more to do
but then on either side
there's these kinds of things
where they would want you to go
traverse the galaxies.
So I guess there's more this way.
It says, is this the warehouse?
No.
You're not more. You're that same
questionable hallway
of mirrors.
There are a few cases.
Okay.
Well, if that's the case, then I will look into these cases.
Korean Nautilus Shell Spoon Warmer
Silver Plated.
I have been dealing with cold spoons
for I don't know how many years.
And I didn't know what to do about it.
I don't know. That was the
changing room?
No. I love a checkerboard
floor. You know, this mall
is pretty promising and I think it can go places.
It's just the thing that
catches me off guard
or makes me wonder is
it's located in Inverness, Florida.
A city that really doesn't
get much traction or attention.
To my knowledge.
So I would be surprised
at how it does.
I don't know if it's
maybe it's along a highway route or something
but
as far as I know, it hugs
the western side
of Florida. So not really
the central where you'd go
for like Orlando.
So I don't
know actually. Look at the horse.
What is it doing?
Are we exploring his
brain? What is that?
I mean it's kind of like
coming out of his head.
The booths that are painted. Like that is so
rich looking with this forest green.
And it compliments so well
with the natural colors.
Goodness
Golly Miss Molly. That's so good.
Oh this red
is vibrant. Wow.
And again the green floor.
It just it all works.
It's very good. And the chair
this looks like a whole moment doesn't it?
Like it's been a curated situation.
The trouble
with that is when things sell and then you have to
like reconfigure the whole existence
of everything and then you're like
oh my gosh what did they do?
Let's just not put prices on anything and just
let it be then. Truly a large
assortment. Like this is all Christmas stuff.
Kind of like I would say newer
Christmas stuff. And then you've got Hazel.
Oh Hazel. Her corner.
It's more of a square but
it's lasers. They play
with lasers and they make things with them.
And then whatever this is.
So there's like so much
happening here that's different.
Gosh I absolutely love these chairs.
It is a pair of chairs.
So you get both of them.
Not the horse. That's separate.
And then $200
only? I mean it's a little
bit. It's been around the block
but who hasn't been?
It's so pretty. I love this green.
For $200 for both.
This one looks maybe
in better condition than the other one even.
That's the kind of stuff that gets me in trouble.
Because I really like it.
It's just that I don't know if we can really trust
the upholstery or the construction
or anything really about it.
It's one of those things
where you kind of just have to put it
in a room. Put a sign on it
that says don't sit in it. Don't look at it.
But the idea
is there. You've got the chair.
It's pretty in theory.
More space. Oh my.
If you're looking for an antique booth
to put your stuff in and sell
they've got it. Oh look.
Quilt blocks. These are very popular in the Midwest.
Not quilt blocks.
What am I thinking? Barn quilts.
But you'd put this
up on your barn or your house
or whatever. And they're like patterns
and you can make your own.
It's like the equivalent
of a coat of arms or something for
Americans. Oh it's a clickety clack.
I love. My gosh.
We could pretend that we're librarians from the 80s.
There's an area that's
30,000 square feet.
That sounds like a lot. But it is.
It's 30,000 square feet off this way.
So that's what
we're doing. Yeah. 30,000.
I wish they had a cafe.
But I don't know if they have enough business to warrant
that. Just like something
small. Oh look. It's like a whole garden.
Oh that's so good.
I love themed situations.
Wow.
They have this early American
art up here.
Who are you?
Who are you? Do we know?
Do they say?
Oh I think
I know that name. Koenig?
Yeah okay.
Well there's this
area in between the two sections
that's very gray.
But look at this over here.
It's a whole world.
Yeah this is a really cool mall.
It really does have so much.
There's a lot happening with that lamp.
Seems like a marriage
of many people. It's like
a polygamous situation.
It seems as though this
should be separate from this.
It's just so pretty.
The way everything is designed.
That's funny.
There's a back to school sale.
15% off
back to school. What do we need
for our festivities
at the schoolyard?
I don't know.
There's some egg cups.
A little thingamajig with a
doohickey next to it.
Little bunny.
What is this? Goober and
Gooberette? I've never
seen. $10.75
Oh clowns on
a bridge. Oh
is that what you're- okay.
This is the other room.
They've got like a ramp.
Wow yeah it's a whole nother room.
30,000 square feet off this way.
What store did this used to be?
Looks like a grocery store or something with the stripes.
Let's go down the ramp.
It's not everyday I get to
go down a ramp.
We have to treat ourselves with the small things.
Oh there's some stilts.
My spidey senses
are saying that this
area was probably
like filled first.
So they probably- because this looks a little
bit more saturated in here.
Already at first glance.
Oh look so yeah.
40,000 square foot is that way.
So 30,000 this way
40,000 that way
equals 70k.
Okay.
Back to school sale again.
Oh my.
Who would have thought a childless
me can get
savings from school.
Does this not scream group project
to you?
My gosh that makes me dizzy.
It's one of these lenticular
blurry things where you
look at it from different angles.
Oh my gosh.
And it lights up.
Oh it's not plugged in.
Deceiving.
I like this. This is like a torpedo
shape.
It is called an
antique pink lamp.
Pink and silver.
Well yeah.
But it's very 19-
very 1920s.
It seems like it needs
a sister or a brother
or a mate.
Because it's just one. You could do it like this.
Or you could do it like this.
I like that.
It has these like ribbed
sides. The chrome.
Very good. Very good.
Good job.
See whoever created that.
Well that's inventive. I happened to look up and it is
a headboard. A wire
headboard they're using as a
ceiling thing.
There's a lot to get through over here.
I did confirm that this
area was started first.
And then they recently, that other
area, the big one we started in, opened
in March of this year.
So yeah.
I really like this.
It has glass
inlays.
Like grout or concrete.
The fish.
It's handmade.
Rustic art by Jarrah.
Okay.
Wood, clay, paper, glass, metal,
fabric, paint. Any flaws are
meant to be part of
the development and correctly on purpose.
$18.50.
This mall is massive.
It will take you a while if you want to come.
If you want, you don't have to.
You can just stay home and watch the video.
Oh that's a cool shelf
with the gold and the black.
And it goes on and on.
As Celine Dion would say.
They have my
precious.
My precious. It's the
Franciscan Ivy.
Oh! They have the large mug.
This is very hard to find.
$15. Darn.
It's hard to find because, I don't know
why actually, but this is
what an appropriate cup of coffee would look
like. Whereas those
other ones are more like tea cup size.
But they are used for coffee cups.
This one would have a saucer
to it.
$15.
It's questionable.
Franciscan Ivy was of course used
in I Love Lucy.
That's the dishes they used in their kitchen.
I already have a bowl like that.
I have a celery dish too.
And a butter dish. Here they have
the platters and the little bowls.
They have $5 on the
little bowls.
The cups and saucers are
$10.
But I don't
really need. I actually
looked at the tag.
I read it. And it said
cup, saucer.
Then I looked behind it. And here's
the saucer.
And it is the correct saucer because
of course you want to make sure
that the circle is
big enough to hold it.
I'm going to get it for that.
Now it's complete.
Good, good, good.
Well look, I ended up getting something
after all. Whether I use
it, I don't know. But there it is.
Oh and it was 25% off
so it was like
$12 basically. That's cool.
I got this flamingo plate.
It's very kitschy. It has the plate hanger too.
$20. $20 for that one.
It's probably made in Japan.
And then this one is beautiful too.
Hand painted.
$15 on that one.
It is K-Mar.
Miami, Florida.
Made in Japan.
They have a ton of these
knotters.
Because you tap them and then
they just hump the air.
And then those two, they're
into it. And then the monkeys.
Hey, hey. There's the monkeys.
And there's pigs too.
Everyone's just happy to be here.
They're saying yes. Everyone.
Yes. Sure.
This place has a lot of room to
expand. Like lots of empty cases.
All of these cases.
Lots of empty space.
Whoa wee. I have mystery bags.
That reminds me whenever I was growing up.
We would go to the Dollar Tree and they would have
those grab bags.
I think they would be white with little green dollar signs all over them.
I think for I guess
a dollar they would have lots of
random toys and stuff in it.
$5. Miscellaneous.
Self care.
Isn't this cool?
$65. I love that.
The filigree on here.
And then these kind of like can rotate.
I don't know why you'd want to put them like that.
But you can spread it.
You could spread it.
And look. That's so pretty.
This little shelf is cool too.
Has the art
built into it for $22.
Oh, look at this one.
Has the deer. That is neat as well.
$65.
Screens. Screens are nice.
I forget about them.
So cool.
Has all the little birds and stuff on it.
This one is
oh my though.
$1,298.38
Alright, so I got my
cup and saucer. That was really
unexpected. And with that I'm going
to wrap up this video. So thanks for watching.
And don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe.
Bye bye.
