CNN, MS NOW and Politico filed a First Amendment lawsuit against the Trump administration this week after their reporters were denied access to the White House following President Trump’s criticism of their coverage. A federal judge has since ordered the administration to restore their access. The dispute is the latest chapter in the often-contentious relationship between American presidents and the press.
