Fashion, Health and Diplomacy Converge During UNGA Week

Fashion, women's health and diplomacy shared the same stage in Brooklyn during United Nations General Assembly High Level Week. The Veiled Truth brought together designers, healthcare voices, entrepreneurs and cultural leaders at 29 Nassau Avenue, with programming built around runway presentations, women's well-being, economic opportunity and philanthropy. The independently produced event was not an official United Nations program, but its agenda connected the conversation to gender equality, economic growth and responsible consumption. Quara State First Lady Olufolake Abdul Razak was featured as keynote speaker, with Richie Hossain hosting and Jordan March among the speakers. By putting women's health alongside fashion, business and global leadership, the Veiled Truth brought conversations often kept separate into the same room.
