Thank you so much for watching, I wish you bundles of happiness!
First off I wanna say, disclaimer, I am not a professional, I'm not a therapist or a psychiatrist
or anything like that so if you really need some like serious help, like if you're really
really sad or like depressed or something like that, I'm not a professional so yeah.
Another thing, I'm gonna be talking kind of loud and a little bit fast because I'm outside
as you can see. I just want to cancel out any background noise. So what's up? If you don't
know, if you're new to my channel, if this is the first video you've ever watched, I'm Brittany,
Flawless Brittany, Diamond Nation. Now, how to be happy for real? You're probably like,
why did I say how to be happy for real? Because the thing is, people like to pretend to be happy.
They like to pretend that everything is okay. They like to conceal. What's that song? Conceal,
don't feel, whatever. It's saying let it go. That's what people like to do. They like to pretend
like they're happy, like everything, they're like really happy but I think a lot of people don't
know how it feels to actually be like genuinely happy. So, the reason why I feel like I'm in a
place to explain this now is because I was that person before. I was in that place where I was
just like pretending like everything's okay. I'm happy. Yeah, I'm smiling every day and all that
stuff but it was just like an act. I really wasn't happy. Like I wasn't depressed but I was like
unhappy with my life and that ties back to unhappy with myself. That ties back to my video about
confidence. If you haven't seen it, go check it out. When I was overweight and stuff like that.
So yeah, how I got out of that was, well before I go into that, I want to say
first, you have to identify the reasons why you're not happy. What's making you unhappy?
What's making you feel unhappy? Like for instance, is it a stressful relationship? Is it your family
stressing you out? Is it you driving yourself crazy with school or work or the kids if you have
them or anything? What's making you unhappy? Find out what that is and then you want to
deal with that. You know what I'm saying? So like for instance, what was making me unhappy?
Being overweight and also a stressful relationship. For one, what I did is let go of the
relationship because it wasn't healthy for myself or the other person. And for two,
what I did for myself obviously was lose weight. So I want to start off by saying
in order to be really happy, you have to be content with what you have now. Where you are now.
For instance, some people say, oh I'll be glad when, like that's a really
overused phrase, I'll be glad or I'll be happy when. Why? Why wait? Nobody's promised tomorrow.
You're not promised that weight to be like, oh I'll be happy when this happens. You're not
guaranteed that. It's like, be happy now. You know, I remember seeing a quote that said,
I totally forgot how it goes, but it's like something of the sort like,
are you living? Basically that's the main question at hand with the quote. Are you living? Are you
really living? Are you living up? You may not be happy because you're not living up to your
full potential, you know. So I would say if there are people that are making you unhappy,
distance yourself from those people. I'm not telling you to stop loving them. I'm not telling
you to completely ruin your relationship with them and burn bridges and stuff. No, I'm saying
distance yourself from them. Love them from a distance. People can really weigh you down,
especially if you let them. So a lot of times we let those things continue to take place because
we realize, oh I love these people. It doesn't mean that you love people any less if you distance
yourself from them. This is a big one. This is really a big one. Worrying so much about what
people think of you can really drive you crazy, seriously. And this is another thing that I've
also dealt with in the past and that I've learned from, you know, and worked on and been able to
get past. Don't let something or someone be the cause of your happiness because once that
thing or someone, sorry, that thing or person is gone, so is your happiness. Don't cling to
something, you know, so much that it's like that's the only thing that's keeping you going.
So this is a big one too. Simply stop complaining. I hope you can hear me. Stop
complaining. Stop nagging. The more you complain and nag, I can't stand this. I hate this. I don't
like this. This gets on my nerves. The more that you do that, you're just like constantly speaking
that negative energy into your life. You literally are through the law of attraction. You're attracting
that negative energy because you constantly keep talking about it. Whatever it is that you're
complaining about, it just, it's not working. It doesn't work for you. It does you no good.
It serves you. It doesn't serve you perfectly. Just let it go. Speaking of let it go,
whatever it is that like maybe you just went through a breakup or maybe you're so sick of
something or I don't know whatever it is that keeps whatever it is just keep like
the stays heavy on your mind that keeps you down. Let that go and it's easier said than done but
really it's just like it's as easy as you make it at the same time because it's like if you're like
this is gonna be so hard to just let it go because I loved him or I loved her or
this thing I need this. I need this job or I need this place or whatever it is that you think you
need. Let it go. Don't expect for what makes someone else happy in life to make you happy.
Like if you're looking at, oh here's another one. If you're if you're comparing yourself
your life to someone else's all the time it's not gonna work for you. Stop. Stop doing that
because when you do that um just don't. Don't do that because they sound kind of I don't know if
other people think like whoever you are watching this if you're watching this obviously you want
to know what I'm going to say that may help you feel more happier you know and I want you to feel
happier like genuinely I do and so that's why I'm making this video. Another thing I want to say
whatever's bothering you you know talk to someone about it you know I was there before you would
think that like see how many people there are in this world lots of people are dealing with you
know the same thing that things that you are dealing with and so you might think that you're
all alone and feeling like uh nobody's gonna understand me or I don't really want to open up
to someone that much because of their judgment or whatever it is you know I'm saying like just
for once push that pride that pride out of the way and talk to someone you don't have to like
spill your whole life story or it's really up to you but I'm just saying like if you talk to
someone that can definitely make you feel better you know having being in the comfort of someone
that you love and trust talking to them and just opening up and letting things out and another
thing it's okay to cry some people are so afraid to cry like especially around people that they
know if you do that if when you do that you close others out and you may think that you're
protecting yourself but you're not you're isolating yourself that's what you're doing
you're isolating yourself um and you're blocking out the love that's there for you there are people
that are there for you and they can like help you get through this or whatever it is that may be
making you feel down but they don't know if you don't tell them you can't just expect people to
read your mind you have to open up to somebody and if you don't want to open it to someone you
love that much then yeah I really would suggest that you um try talking to like a therapist or
someone that doesn't make you crazy you're just going to you better believe it i'ma be happy
i'ma be good get that understood i'ma be happy i'ma be good you better believe it i'ma be happy
i'ma be good get that understood i'ma be happy i'ma be good you better believe it
i'ma be happy i'ma be good get that understood i'ma be happy i'ma be happy i'ma be good
