Milwaukee weather: Rain returns overnight, heavy at times

A heavy round of rain is expected to begin around midnight and persist for approximately 24 hours, with some areas receiving 1 to 3 inches of precipitation. While tomorrow will be soggy, a shift toward cooler, drier air will lead to a beautiful, sunny fall weekend with highs in the 60s.
