Austin weather: Storms coming, flooding possible

Central Texas is facing a significant weather event with heavy rain and a moderate risk of flooding. A slow-moving front is bringing torrential downpours, particularly to the Hill Country, with some areas seeing up to 6 inches of rain. While most of the region will receive beneficial rain, flash flood warnings are in effect for high-risk areas through Friday.
