God Will See Us Through -- Tommy Rice Music
I don’t know of any better time in our history to write this song. It came from my heart for my love for God and my country. I pray our leaders and citizens will just listen to this and know to put God in first place to guide us thru anything we face. We all can plainly see something is so wrong going on these days.
Lyrics:
MANY TIMES IN MY LIFE I FELT LIKE GIVING UP
ACCEPT LIFE AS IT IS, SO WORN OUT, SO MUCH NOT RIGHT
SEEMS LIKE I’M SO OUTNUMBERED, THE WORLD CLOSING IN
NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE, LEAVING ME TO FACE IT ALONE
TO FIGHT FOR WHAT I KNOW IS RIGHT
THE WORLD I WAS BORN INTO IS FALLING APART WITH NO END IN SIGHT
WHAT HAPPENED TO KINDNESS, TRUSTING ONE ANOTHER
YOUR WORD BEING YOUR BOND, FINDING A WAY TO GET ALONG
(turnround)
WE SEEM TO FOCUS ON THINGS OF THE WORLD
WHO HAS THE BIGGEST HOUSE, MOST EXPENSIVE CAR
OUR MIND’S LOSING FOCUS ON WHO CAN I PRAY FOR TODAY
A WELCOMING EAR, A HEART THAT CARES
DOESN’T MATTER, THE COLOR OF YOUR SKIN
ALL OUR BLOOD IS RED
WAKE UP AMERICA
HATE IS TEARING US APART
Ch: AMERICA’S FOUNADATION WAS BUILT
ON OUR BELIEF IN GOD AND COUNTRY
HOW FAST THINGS ARE CHANGING
JUST REMEMBER AMERICA …
GOD WILL SEE US THROUGH
ANYTHING WE FACE
GOD WILL SEE US THROUGH
ANYTHING WE FACE
OUR COUNTRY IS SHOWERED WITH BLESSINGS
WE NEED TO REMEMBER WHERE THEY CAME FROM
A VIRUS CALLED COVID CHANGED THE WORLD AS WE KNEW IT
IF THAT DOEN’T OPEN YOUR EYES, SOMETHING IS SO WRONG
Ch: AMERICA’S FOUNADATION WAS BUILT
ON OUR BELIEF IN GOD AND COUNTRY
HOW FAST THINGS ARE CHANGING
JUST REMEMBER AMERICA …
GOD WILL SEE US THROUGH
ANYTHING WE FACE
GOD WILL SEE US THROUGH
ANYTHING WE FACE
