Jericho cancels remainder of varsity football season due to player injuries, safety concerns

Jericho High School has ended its varsity football season prematurely due to a lack of available players following multiple injuries. The district cited player safety as the primary reason for forfeiting the remaining games, a decision that has left student-athletes disappointed. This trend reflects a broader decline in football participation across several Long Island school districts.
