Hi, everyone.
I'm Elaine Beck, as you know, and we are about to talk openly here on CPAC
now about what's happening in our country right now, how President Trump
has been again pushed against the wall and is being harassed by the current
government, and I'm here to talk to you a little bit about that today and to
pray for our country.
And to remind all of us that we all can play a part, especially in these
prayers, especially in loving one another and standing for what is right in
God's eyes.
As you know, the name of my show is It's Not About Us because it's not it's not
about we the people.
It's not about President Trump.
It's not about the opposing people, the the haters and and the ones that are
putting us to such a harsh test because they are working with the evil one.
It's not about any of that.
It's about our loving God who created this wonderful country and gave us
opportunities beyond measure that our our forefathers agreed that that was
willing to fight for this country.
Are we willing to fight for it?
Are we willing to stand together?
It is because of these things that we come together today that I have come
before you to pray for our country with you to talk a little bit about God's
word and how it all comes together.
And so I'm going to start by reading a few scriptures for you.
And it goes like this.
And I got this from the First Baptist Church up in Pinetop, Arizona, has a Bible
study, and it's in the Bible study.
And and I want to read some of the scripture that they have within it to help
us understand the differences and yet the absolute likenesses of what happened
back then when when it was a new world and what is happening now.
It says, go and announce directly to Jerusalem that this is what the Lord says.
I remember the loyalty of your youth, your love as a bride, how you followed me
in the wilderness and the land not sown.
Isn't that what God may be asking of us, of the United States?
And then it goes on to say God's first words to Jerusalem where I remember the
Lord recalled when Israel was like a young bride and he bound himself to her and
established his covenant with them at Sinai.
Israel had promised to obey God's instruction and be fruitful to him.
You know, we did that in our very own constitution, in the words that he gave us
to understand that this is a nation that is God's nation, that he allowed us to
have and that he made it so powerful in the minds of the founders that when
England tried to come and take it back, he took the pastors of the churches and
helped them lead their their people out to fight against the English.
And was it hard?
And was there a battle like we're going through now?
Absolutely.
But understand that God was with them just as he is with us.
And he said God protected his beloved Israel and provided for her every need in
the wilderness.
Nevertheless, nevertheless, what should have been happy memories instead had
become painful memories to the Lord.
I believe that God right now is painfully looking at the United States, but I also
believe that he loves us.
And there's another scripture that I will I have in my office on the wall and it
says, if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and
seek my face and turn from their wicked way, then I will hear from the heaven and
will forgive their sin and heal their land.
It's not too late, people.
We've talked about miracles recently.
We've talked about the love of our Lord.
So right now, I would just like to pray with you all and especially with President
Trump and and what is happening to him and all the other good leaders of this
country that love and understand that we are a Judeo Christian country and that we
have every right to fight.
But in order to fight, fight the right way, we should fight with prayer, with
supplication, with continuing to do that, with loving one another.
Help your neighbor get through this.
Help your family get through this.
When somebody's down and hurt and is seeing the news and they're ripping their
hearts out, be there to hold their hand and pray with them.
So right now, I just ask three things of our prayer that we humble ourselves, that
we thank God and we ask him to separate us from the idols.
We allow each of us to come between us and him.
So, Lord, we come before you in the name of Jesus and we do humbly ask for your
forgiveness, Lord, of all the things that we do wrong, of the things where we have
bad thoughts towards others and our enemies.
But at the same time, Lord, ask for you to tame our enemies, to help them see the
error of their way.
A lot of the enemies we have are innocent enemies that have been told lies, then
reached out to and constrained from what they would really feel if they turned back
to you. So we pray, Lord, for that.
We also ask, Lord, that we remember to thank you for all that you have given us.
You have provided this country and the people here, even the poorest people, have
more than the majority of the people in this world who have nothing or next to
nothing. We should be humbling ourselves and thanking you every moment in
everything. And Lord, especially, we need to separate ourselves from all the idols
that we see and want and give all of our attention to.
How sad is it that instead of looking to you and giving our attention to you and
praying to you more often and going to church and serving you by serving our
neighbors, our friends and our family, that we are more interested in what we can
get out of things.
And so therefore, we look to all of these idols, money especially, you know,
ideologies that sound like more fun than following God's word, when in reality,
following your word is the greatest joy anybody will ever have.
Lord, we just ask that you go before us and remind us constantly.
So, Lord, and now I would like to pray for President Trump.
Lord, this is a man who you chose, not us.
Just as you choose each of us, you give each of us a purpose.
I've seen in his four years that he was president, him humble himself.
Yes, he has a harsh side to him because of where he was raised and how hard he had to
fight for what he had.
But he also humbles himself to help this country.
He loves us.
He loves we, the people, and he loves you and he needs you right now.
And he needs all of us to pray continually for him and for our country.
We love you, Lord.
We have so much to give, but we hold it in instead of giving, instead of praying,
instead of helping one another.
We say, I'm nobody.
I'm nothing.
I'm a one person.
Understand, we must come together, Lord.
Please help us do that.
Let us look outside our window and see what we can do to help in our neighborhoods, in
our communities.
God, please, please be with each of us, but especially President Trump, who is, he and
his family have been personally just treated so poorly and so bad because they love you
and because they want what's best for this country.
God, please put a protecting hand on him, put a hedge around him, send your angels to
help him get through this, help his lawyers and the people that are working with him to
know the right things to say, to approach this the proper way.
Also, help us to know when not to speak, not just when to speak, when to be quiet, when
to listen to you instead of speaking our own hearts, because they are much more evil than
we, than you will ever be.
You are the only one who is perfect in every way.
So we ask, Lord, that as you go before him and you go before our country and all the
people here that love you, not the ones that are doing the evil things and following the
evil one, but your children, Lord, and praise you for choosing us to be your children.
And we ask, Lord, that you touch the lives of many others as they are awakened to the
truth of what's really happening.
God, give us that voice.
Allow us to speak to all your children.
It is so important.
We thank you, God, and we praise you in every way in Jesus name.
Amen.
And to all of you out there, just remember a short prayer like this or even shorter,
just saying, God, help my country.
God, help me.
God, help President Trump.
God, help our leaders.
A prayer like that multiple times a day.
God does hear us.
He's answered our prayers and he will continue to do so.
It is never too late.
God bless you.
See you again on CPAC now and know that we are here for you and God bless America.
Amen.
