Wildwood (2026) | Official Trailer | Fathom Entertainment

A hidden forest, a stolen baby brother, and a dangerous world beyond imagination collide in Wildwood (2026), LAIKA’s ambitious new stop-motion fantasy from Travis Knight, the director of Kubo and the Two Strings.

The film follows Prue McKeel, a headstrong teenager whose baby brother is abducted by a murder of crows. Determined to bring him home, Prue enters the mysterious Impassable Wilderness outside Portland, Oregon, joined by her loyal classmate Curtis Mehlberg. Inside Wildwood, they encounter talking animals, bandits, powerful rulers, and a conflict shaped by grief, ambition, and magic. Featuring the voices of Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Jacob Tremblay, Carey Mulligan, Mahershala Ali, Awkwafina, Angela Bassett, Jake Johnson, Charlie Day, and Amandla Stenberg, Wildwood brings Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis’ fantasy world to life through LAIKA’s handcrafted stop-motion animation.
