Alright, so behind me here we got this 2016 C7 Z06 we just wrapped up.
Customer brought it in for a Catless long tube header install. It's got a Rotofab big globe on
there, stock pulleys, and a 2017 Talbot. So I actually wanted to get a small clip of this car
because our baseline stock pull on what I think is the stock file, but it could have been tuned
before my customer bought it. This car made 570 to the wheels and 599 torque. It's pretty stout
for a stock tune, but looking back it was also on 29 degrees of timing, which I don't think
the stock tune comes that spicy out of the factory. So we tuned it with Derek,
we got it finished up, and we ended up making 576 and 651 torque on 10 degrees less time. So
we're at 19 degrees right now instead of 20. An interesting thing is you might think, oh with
the tune it only picked up 5 horsepower, but I'm going to show you guys where there's so much gain
in between all of that stuff on the graph. Alright, this is about as high as my selfie stick goes,
but we have the two graphs here. As you can see, base pull 570, 599. Our tune with Derek made 576
and 651. Peak, it's making about the same. You see all the sprinkly lines over here.
On the low end though, we picked up about, this looks like 60 torque right here. I see some areas
made about 70 torque pickup, and in the power area there's about 45 to 50 wheel here, 55 wheel
here. So under the curve we made some huge gains. Sometimes you don't see that stuff,
or people don't explain it, but there's a ton of gain from just doing the tune. Obviously
for some reason, I don't know why, that 29 degrees of timing in it,
we cleaned that up for this customer, and now the car is running.
Bow, back to the vet. Okay. Oh, I guess, was I supposed to say hi? How are you? What's up
everybody? Welcome back to the channel. Ash is not here. You know, just Tata in my face again today
while I'm trying to get something done, and we're going to get it done while Tata's in my face,
because that's what Tata does. That's what actually, that's what Tata gets paid to do,
which is crazy. Has that ever occurred to you, Tata? That you get paid to just like be in our
space? But yeah, so I'm wiring up my trans brake right now, and hopefully it's going to work.
I'm just not telling Larry I'm doing it, because Larry was going to wire it, but he's so busy,
and I kind of feel bad for pulling him off. So I'm going to do some stuff that I know Larry
really doesn't like me doing, but he'll never know, and it's going to work.
And this is coming from an anal guy. Say that again? So yeah, that's what we got going on today.
So I'm working on the vet. Larry's over there doing Larry things. Boomer's over here putting
together a Range Rover motor and working on this BMW, which he's doing like control arms and all
this stuff too. He's assembled, this was a whole short block not too long ago. So Boomer's been
assembling this all day, which is going in the Range Rover that's outside with the trunk open
right now, which is as soon as I get this done, we're taking this off the lift, moving Ash's car
to this lift, and the Range Rover's going to that lift. So it's a whole thing going to happen. This
is just my SS parked here, just because I'm bougie, and Rasta's over there doing Rasta stuff
to transmissions. So got another vet in. This vet, the motor's actually in it. Everything's in. We're
That one's almost done, and then get cranking away on this C10. Oh, I did do something this
weekend actually. Good job, Tata. Tata remembers what I did more than what I did. So I actually
went to Bike Week this weekend. I rode my bike all the way to Ocean City, me and my boy Mo,
and yeah, rode all the way to Ocean City for Bike Week on Saturday, spent the night. We rode back
home on Sunday. It was pretty cool. We got rained out, rode in the rain, rode in the sun, all that.
Got the whole nine yards, but it was really cool. Ocean City Bike Week is sick actually. If you guys
never checked that out, you should. I kind of like it more than cruising weekend. It's pretty
weird that I'm saying that, but yeah, they just got way more stuff to do. Like there's everything
there, but yeah, Ocean City Bike Week, that ---- was fun. It was really cool. I'm gonna do that
again next year. It just always falls on my daughter's birthday, so it's like damn, but now
it's starting to get to where it's not, so it's pretty cool. Yeah, so that's that. We are miked up.
I just got here, and we're live right now. It's like 3.05. I came in this morning for like an
hour to handle a couple customers, and then I had to leave to handle some errands with my wife,
and I just got back, and I'm leaving again in 20 minutes, so we're about to give Tata a quick shop
update of what we got going on, and then yeah, got Wally's C5. He's kind of back up and running. He's
just wiring some new features in the car, so once he's done with that, maybe we'll show you guys the
product, but for right now, he's working on that, and let's go to your car, because we're going to
talk about the rest of the cars. Okay, sweet. Yeah, it's kind of going through. This is going
to sound crazy to say a whole kind of new setup again, but we're refreshing the motor right now.
I got brand new pistons for it. The skirts were starting to wear out on my old set,
so got a brand new set of diamond pistons for my block, refreshed converter,
a couple other small goodies, but it's getting ready to go back together soon.
Changing up the exhaust a little bit, but outside of that, I mean the rest is about the same,
so it's nothing major, but it's definitely getting an updated setup compared to before,
so we'll see how it does when we get it all back together. We're going to be running
DSX Atlas like we already were. We got some new features for boost control, traction control,
so we'll go into that stuff later on when we get it back together and see how it does from there.
What up, guys? So it's me and Kitty here. Say hi to the camera. She just wants rubs,
but anyways, so today we're at the... Okay, well, I'm going to set the camera down,
because she wants rubs. So today we're at the shop. Nothing much really is going on.
Lolita is currently fixing the Corvette right now, and we got a couple new-ish cars in the shop,
but not really from the last time we saw you guys, and yeah, haven't really talked to y'all
in a while. Just me and Kitty here, but if you guys want to, you can check out my YouTube channel.
It's at ChiefRedbox, and we're currently at 12.5 thousand followers. 12.5, yeah,
12.5k followers, which is really great. I post a lot of POV videos, night drives,
and sometimes I yap at the gym. Can you guys see all the fur that's coming off of her?
Oh, yeah, we're not showing anything inside the car right now. Oh, okay. So whatever you
just recorded for the last 45 seconds, Danny DeLito, it's on nitrous. Ash says I can't show
nothing yet. No, it's not on nitrous. I'm kidding. Well, yeah, I mean, let's just wait till it's like
fully together, and then we'll like show it off a little bit, you know, but we're still in the
assembly stage. Engine's running. It's all healthy. We switched to ID1700s. You talked about that
already? Nah. Yeah, used to have Bosch 210s in here, but while it was refreshing, we were like,
let's just put some ID1700s in. It's got better idle characteristics, and it's going to overall
just run a lot better. Before, I feel like it was more watt-tuned, and you could put it around town,
but if you left the car idling for like 20 minutes, it'll like flood out kind of, so
it'll run a lot better now with these injectors. And then, obviously, it's got our buddy Ricky's
updated piping and all that for the turbo system, custom intercooler, so yeah. I mean,
it's not going to probably make more power, but it'll be more efficient this go-around,
and we can put the power to the ground now. Put the power to the ground a bit more better,
and you guys will, maybe this car will be ready for Fall Brawl this year. Not maybe. It's going
to Fall Brawl. He broke it last year. I broke it at Fall Brawl. He broke it last year, and now he's
getting it ready to go again this year. This is his redemption Fall Brawl. He's going to get his
get-back for breaking last year, so I don't think I might be ready for that, but I'm not sure. It's
like the odds are against it, to be honest, my car right now, but it's all right. I mean, it'll be
nice to go see this, go lay down a nice number, and get some good footage for our YouTube. So,
that's about it for today, and yeah, we'll catch you guys next week.
He never takes his top off his car. You know why I took it off? Because it was easier to get in
and out. Yeah. It's like, it feels so weird with it off. That's because he's almost 40. What'd he say?
