I Rode the NEW 2027 Yamaha YZ250F

And we are back with another video and I am on my way to the motocross track right now and I haven't actually been to this track for quite a while and since I was last there it's had some pretty big updates that I'm excited to try out and you might be wondering I haven't even packed a motorcycle in the van and that's because well you just have to wait and find out. Pulling up to the track right now we got everyone here I'm a little bit late had a big drive got all the Dunlop signage up this looks mad. Oh there's the bikes I'm going to be riding today. How are you? Good yourself? Meet in a minute yeah. How you doing bro? How you going? Look at the burn, the shape of it all. Yeah wow. Look how kicky that is. Oh that's a lift. This track looks sick. So today we're out here with Yamaha and Faseda to test out the new Dunlop tyre range and ride the brand new 2027 YZ250F for the first time. That's like that because you get more traction on the tyre like that. It's in the ground so your front tyre won't wash out. That's the technology behind it anyway. See the knobbies. And now we've got the actual professionals stepping in to explain the new Dunlop tyre range and give us a rundown on what to expect throughout the day. What we got? Oh that's a I should have brought the 252 stroke. So that's what you got a 252 stroke? Yeah. Oh dude that's sick. You got no idea how hard this thing is. Like the front wheel is allergic to the ground on this 250 bro. You're like legit you just go and it goes oh I can't wait bro. You want to see my bike? Oh yeah that's fresh. Watch I'll go on and they'll come off. Someone's taking the YZ250F already out there so we're going to do the warm-up laps on a WR450F. Just doing the sight laps and then we'll swap over to the YZs later. Oh it's back. Nice we get to jump on the Yeah. Yep. Thank you. First ride on the YZ250F. 2027. I've not actually ridden any YZ250F before so let's just go warm up and suss out the track. The exhaust sounds. Track has changed a lot since I last came so. He's got some bar. That's a nice jump. Yeah that's sick. These things rev out a lot higher supposedly. We're also testing out different Dunlop tires today in their new Dunlop range. I didn't get to ask what tires this has on it right now but they feel really good. I'm just trying to get this. YZs sick. Oh dude. I don't know what these are. These are MX34s. So that's Yeah. Yeah he's good at that. I think he hit neutral maybe. I'll watch you do it. Nice. It looks doable. I think that's gonna call it for the first session out on the YZ250F. Plenty more riding to do today. So good warm up. Good learn of the track. I hit all the jumps so call that a successful first session. And we're going for 35 minutes. Got my hands back on the 250. We're going out to the tree track out the back and then we'll come back to this track later. Yeah. Just had some lunch. A bit better but I need even more. The tree track. Trent's going for it straight away. Yeah. That was sick man. You're flying. You're looking good. Thanks Ray. That was so sick. That was so fun. You just hold it open. Dude I don't know what it is. It like makes you like it unlocks a different rider in you to be completely honest. Like I would not ride my CRF like this. No. I don't know why though. Like I've seen you hit that. Yeah. That hole. Dude it was so sick. That was your kill bro. You obviously look unreal on this thing. Really? On the CRF you're real technical and smooth. When I watch you on this you look quick. The first time I've seen you like on it. Really? I'm saying it just unlocks something bro. It like makes you want to like throw it around and and just give it full throttle. It could be the tires too. Like these are hooking up really really good. You got different ones to me. Do you want to ride this? Yeah I'll ride that. Yeah sick. So these have the MXWatt 34s. The older ones and these are the 54 new new gen ones. We got the air intake. You want to spend another chill lap? Yeah. Oh you can really hear that air intake. What? It is so much louder. It's so much louder and it wow bro. Smooth laps on the main track. You practicing whips? Yeah I'm gonna try as well. Call it for me on the 250. What an experience. This bike is wow. It genuinely, I'm not just saying this either, it genuinely makes me want one. Just take it I know right. Everyone's finishing up for the day. And that's gonna wrap it up for the Dunlop event today. It was an absolutely sick day getting to ride the YZ250F for the first time. Unfortunately I didn't get to ride any of the other bikes. There was just too much going on and I was having way too much fun on that YZ250F. It's really making me want to get one. And those Dunlop tires, the new MX54s, they were on Trent's bike. They were hooking up out the back on the tree track. But I was riding the standard MX34s I believe they are. And even those, those are hooking up so good. But yeah, mad event. Huge thank you to Dunlop and Yamaha for bringing me out. This track was so fun to ride. I'm definitely coming back here for sure. I wish we got to go out on the WR450 or WR250 out in the trails but didn't get to today. Hopefully next time we'll come back out here and test out the trails. But that's it for today. Glad we get to go home safe, unscathed and that's what matters the most. So yeah, sick event.
