In this video, I'm replacing a compressor that faulted because the thermal overload would not reset. I had previously been out to change a capacitor because the capacitor went bad and stopped the compressor from running, but the compressor got hot and when it did, the thermal overload would never reset so that is why we're having to replace this compressor I've tried to include everything I can in this video to show exactly what it takes to replace a residential compressor.
