They're too young to vote, but kids want you to think about these Ontario election issues
Oct 12, 2026
I think everyone's voice matters even
if you're not old enough to vote yet.
They're too young to vote but that doesn't mean they can't have a say.
The 2026 municipal election is coming up on October 26th
and kids across Ontario are thinking
about the issues that matter most to them.
I'm here at the London Children's Museum to ask kids
what they would like to see in their communities.
Maybe more parks and for the trails maybe there
could be less roads there's been a lot
of construction going on and people are like
breaking down roads and natural stuff they're digging up the grass
and stuff and i think we
should use more nature and so people more people
can explore more what's natural i would want to
put more train tracks because via trains could run
different places and and we could travel a lot
easier um that we help others others
and clean up the park sometimes safety like we continue the
road um the road safer and keep building
on that uh swimming pool and my family i like to see
people helping each other being nice
to each other maybe more people can come here make more friends here
