Very warm Monday on the way

644 and you're looking at some cloudy skies overhead. Eventually this will give way to a bit more sunshine through the later part of the day today but in the meantime we will see a mostly cloudy sky to start our day here across the city. Temps though very mild. We're seeing a lot of upper 50s, low 60s in the Madison Heights area. 60 right now. Bloomfield Hills at 59. Auburn Hills also at 59. Rochester 59. So a lot of upper 50s here. Brighton 56 in the Northville area. 57 this morning and then near Canton in the upper 50s so not a bad way to start off a Monday morning so we have that going for us i know sometimes it's a little tough to get the day going we are looking at a quiet start in terms of rain chances and then late tonight into early Tuesday we'll see our first round of rain second round of rain very early Wednesday and then later on in the week that's when we have a better chance of picking up on more organized stuff but from now until about midnight tonight we're looking at dry conditions decreasing cloud cover a very nice feel with our temperatures reaching near 80 degrees, and that happens during the later part of the afternoon. Lows tonight, low 60s, so even warmer than where we're at now, but that's going to give us a good jumping off point for Tuesday, and Tuesday is actually going to be an even warmer day compared to today. We could be tying the record high at 83, so we'll keep an eye on that. Otherwise, the later part of the week, we see a pretty good shot for showers. The extended forecast shows rain, but especially on Friday, windy conditions too, and that's going to come with big changes in terms of daytime highs with most in the low 60s and then upper 40s by Saturday.
