An apparent crash between a car and a motorcycle left behind
a scene that is really hard to miss, as you can see this morning.
So let's get right to Jonathan Calixto. He's at the scene
of that crash with the very latest for us this morning. Jonathan.
That's right. Now, there's still a lot
of unanswered questions about what exactly unfolded down
this University Heights street here in the Bronx overnight.
But the damage left behind shows there was serious impact.
Now, I want to show you real quick what
we've been seeing down the street.
there's been a bunch of scattered medical gloves here outside
of just 2545 University Avenue and
just on this corner here as you can see leaned up against
the concrete barrier it appears to be part
of a motorcycle parts as well
as some medical gloves just up there as well now further down
we even notice a trail of blood now
that all comes after citizen video recorded just after
midnight on Tuesday shows a white van blocking part of the street
while a motorcycle lies on
its side nearby. One person can be seen laid out
on the sidewalk as bystanders gather around to help
while others work to direct traffic around the scene.
Now moments later EMS crews arrived
and are seen treating that one person.
Now we have reached out to the FDNY to learn more about
any possible injuries.
