I'm CBC Meteorologist Ashley Brawiler with a look
at your forecast for Newfoundland and Labrador.
This morning it was chilly for most areas across the province,
minus single digits for Labrador.
Same thing for the west coast through central and eastern areas,
anywhere from about 1 to 3 degrees.
We did see a little bit of snow in the higher elevations.
Definitely not lasting long, though.
Today, temperatures, although are going to stay chilly,
we should see plenty of sunshine.
There's a little bit of cloud cover up across Labrador at the moment,
But most of us should be seeing a mix of sun and cloud.
Those temperatures starting to warm up,
hovering somewhere between zero and about plus five right now.
But as we head through the afternoon, we should reach somewhere
between four and six degrees for most areas across the province.
With winds a little breezy out of the northwest,
about 40 to 50 kilometers per hour.
West, though, you should see some light winds.
And as we look ahead to the long range forecast, Wednesday stays dry
until the evening and then Thursday at this point looks a little rainy.
