False Accusations: Democrat attorney accuses Ilhan Omar of hypocrisy over her attacks on Israel

Former Democrat House Judiciary Committee chief counsel Julian Epstein accuses Omar of making baseless accusations against Israel.

“I think it is unfair to make false accusations, but I will note, ironically, that Omar has been race-baiting,” Mr Epstein told News24 host Elizabeth Pipko.

“Jews and race-baiting Israel, calling it a genocidal regime without having any facts to back that up whatsoever. It's a lie.

“And I would note, ironically, that her family, her father in particular, was part of the Siad Barre regime in Somalia that was, I think, widely reported to be a genocidal regime, responsible, and her father was a colonel in that regime.

“For somebody like that to be coming over and smearing, I think she's often smeared the United States. I think she has smeared Israel. I think a lot of people see that as sort of incredibly hypocritical, given her provenance.”
