Well, in this week's Haunted Tri-State
we're going to a hotel that is found high above the Hudson River.
But if you go back almost two centuries ago,
Lisa, there could be something paranormal.
News 12's Christy Reeder has a spooky sneak peek.
By the turn of the century, these grounds hosted lavish parties,
formal dinners, and generations of family life.
But in a place this old, not every story stays buried.
Well, we didn't have to create something. It was here.
You know, this history was here,
and we just uncovered it and dusted it off.
And among the generations of people connected to the property,
one name continues to surface.
The ghost has got a name, right?
Her name is Sybil, and she apparently was the daughter-in-law
of the most famous resident of the King Mansion.
When Sybil Harris married Frederick King,
two prominent Hudson Valley families became linked.
And rumor has it that Sybil loved it here
so much that some believe she never truly left.
She apparently comes back to visit her old home from time to time.
And her visits seem to revolve around room 293.
And if you're thirsty for more,
you can catch the full show Haunted Tri-State,
at Tarrytown House Estate.
That's tonight, 9:30, only here on News 12.
