Valkyries star Gabby Williams inspires young players through childhood coach

Star Gabby Williams is inspiring the next generation of young basketball players. She keeps contact with her youth basketball coach, Alfonso Jew, affectionately known as Fonz. As Williams grew up in Reno, but regularly traveled to the Bay Area for basketball tournaments, her father asked Fonz to coach her whenever she came here. She quickly became part of the Bulldogs basketball family. It's a club based in San Francisco and Daly City. As if she were my daughter. Yes, yes, and she she she brought tears to my eye because she had said that to someone else that she considers me as a father figure, which it touches it touches you know my heart because I I I still think of her as that little kid. I really want to make it on the Valkyries like she did. That really inspires me, especially since she got taught here. It's really cool because she has the same coach as me, and I think he's gonna make me go to the WMB. Now the youth basketball coach says Gabby Williams' career is proof dreams can come true. Starting from a small court, then ending up on one of the biggest stages. Bravo!
