Wow.
Ryan Fox from 99.5's Wake Up With The Wolf Show joins me this morning.
Hey there, buddy.
How's it going?
Good, man.
Good to see you on this Wednesday.
Always great to see you, Brandon.
Good to see you, sir.
So the National Cowgirl Museum
and Hall of Fame announced this week that Miranda Lambert
is bringing some of her iconic Velvet
Rodeo outfits right here to North Texas.
I guess we got a sneak peek yesterday.
Yes.
So the Velvet Rodeo is coming to Fort Worth.
You may remember she had her big album release party at Billy Bob's.
This happened last week.
Well, now, two years after wrapping
her Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas residency,
her unique wardrobe is going to be on display
at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame of Fort Worth.
It's going to start November 7th.
It was created in collaboration with Miranda.
It's inspired by Western pieces and Elvis Presley, believe it or not.
And also, it's going to be there for a year.
So you don't have to rush out and see it,
but it will start November 7th.
really cool one of our Texas friends Miranda bringing some
of her goodies for us to see up
close pretty awesome that is cool man i'm telling
you gotta let me tag along with some of your
interviews you got to talk to Cody Johnson recently about
his collab with Luke Combs
it's called shoot the bull these are two of my favorites
so what did Cody have to say
yeah so Cody uh he had his big team roping event down
in Belton Texas last weekend but you may
remember when he won the ACM Entertainer
of the year award back in May the first person he thanked
was his buddy Luke Combs and so on his new album Banks
of the Trinity they've got a collab called
shoot the bull and we talked about
this and basically he was just saying that look every
time we talk on the phone uh Luke
and i all we do is we don't talk about the business we don't talk
about what's going on we just shoot
the bull we talk about kids we talk about family so it was
just a no brainer that they would team up
and do this together and also he credits luke for giving
him a start with worldwide touring he took him to australia with him
and so now he's got a fan
base in australia cody does just
because luke kind of took him under his wing it's it's pretty
pretty cool to see the friendship
that they've you know put together these two pretty awesome
two really talented dudes yeah it is a very busy week for you
and tara so you guys are emceeing the

is how you can make a direct impact to fight
in in breast cancer go to coleman.org slash dallas

and it's gonna be nice and fall like too with the weather
for that which will be uh pretty cool
but yeah it's really just uh it's community coming together
for a common cause and common one of the best one
of the best you know organizations that we can
just team up with and we love those guys so much
also i want to tell you that going on in
woxahatchee we're going to be at the trunk
of Palooza, this is going to be at Gettings Danner Park
on Saturday, it's going to be from three to six, put
your costume on find your best costume get
the kids all dressed up and have something
that can contain all the candy you're going to get
from 3 to 6 when you go out to Trunk-a-Palooza
because this is the largest Trunk or Treat
in Texas. And once again, Brandon,
the weather's going to be so fall-like,
it's going to feel so great this weekend. Hope to see
you out there. If I just bring my truck bed,
is that enough to hold all the candy?
That'll do it.
You should be covered.
That's good. All right.
