All right we're about to make this uh water crossing here.
The water's up a little bit so
wish us luck. Look how pretty this is.
She's a wet one Boosh.
You ready to do this? I think so.
Boosh and I are going camping for two nights on the quads.
I bought a big old storage rack for my ATV
so that I can actually camp out of my Renegade.
Bushy's got a trailer with some of the gear
on it we got some gas got enough stuff we got
a hot tent Bushy is excited we've been planning
this for a hot minute this is the third installation
of pork inhalation ah one second
i'll
follow
you
check
it
out
the
beavers
damned
that's
crazy
eh
right
up
to
the
road
look
at
it
how narrow it gets here the water's super high
super wet that's nuts eh you think was it always
this far out last week it was here
but it's all frozen it wasn't overflowing as much i think no
they yeah it was right here it
was tight right here impressive yeah no doubt eh lots of water
great
grandfathers
i heard
k-mart right
the same way as
the tailgate
keep them we're
just gonna
take off but tailgate together i'm
gonna try to figure out some sort
of uh some kind of bungee
ratchet system yes i wouldn't call it
a system that's what i like to hear
so most of this stuff back here is mine
but we got the gas we got everything like pretty much
squared away on the four-wheelers
and again i got a ton of stuff in here but because of the wood
stove or sorry the tent and the wood stove
that takes up a lot of it i got this on with a bungee
and the two quick connects
and link system it's working pretty good it's not bouncing around too
much we'll
be at camp pretty soon
well it only took
the grandpa's
trailer there
you
go
no
no
no
it's
solid
yeah
she's
a
soupy
yeah
so
Bush
knew
of
this
spot
here up the canvas tent wood
so combo I stay dry
so since the renegades not set
up for camping too much i got this storage box
and it attaches with these
link systems pretty quick
but on the front of it if I don't have something
holding it down it flops all around I got
to get some screws in there and put
something on there but for now the bungee holds it fine this thing's
holding most of the gear
although bush did have that trailer coming in as you
saw we're gonna get this tent set up
things. I'm bringing a Dutch oven
which takes up a lot of space. So I got to use my
great-grandfather's trailer back in the day.
It's a little beat up but to be
expected it's pretty cool.
It held up like three ditches we went through.
Yeah, and quite a bit of water.
Yeah, Joe was awesome. We rode behind to make
sure nothing fell out and this tailgate
did fall off like four or five times so we
could be pledged on here. Now we're here and it's all just fixed.
We fit quite a bit of gear in here.
I'm actually really pleased with it.
We've got a lot of gear. We wanted to
be comfortable and warm
for the couple nights we're out here got a lot of good
food some cast-iron cooking stuff
so here's the poles and the tent is in my
backpack we're gonna have to put
the tent right back here as far as we can
because there's quite a bit
of water stagnant right here in front we obviously
don't want to be camping okay this is the third installment of our pork
Balacian series. Year three going strong.
Why don't you get that stuff going? It's an A-frame,
basically. Okay. I'll just do this and help you with that, too.
So this is my snow trekker tent.
You guys have seen us use this before.
Try to keep it a little dry.
Two pieces with a bottom,
and you're gonna have one piece that's hollow all the way through.
Two pieces have a closed end. Oh,
I understand.
So I got my two ends here.
I got new poles because I
broke them and they sent me
with feet so they're just different than
these so these oh okay you'll have two of these two
i'll have these two you'll have this y and i'll have
this y it's coming back to me it's all coming
back this is crap i did not know
that that's uh perfect could have
been from when i had it
set up for the year, well I didn't know it well
ice storm, man, yeah muscle
memory, yeah muscle memory
it's so slick and easy like that's
so nice, okay cool perfect, so one of us has to sleep at the
very end and one of us has to sleep on a side, okay
and if we put the door on that side, the wood stove
will be here and I would sleep on that side, you sleep in the back
or vice versa and we'd be all
pretty flat and away from the water, right
that sounds good, looks good, yeah okay all right all
right let's get that canvas
on there and then the
corners, they're rubberized
on the inside and they just
get the little pocket there in the inside
in the very corner, yep okay, a little rubberized so the legs
get put in there super easy
it's very intuitive all
right there she is the old
Snow Trucker, I think this is the expedition model but shout out Snow
Trucker quality products made
in the States, made right in the US of A, so
we're all set up and we've avoided the water
for the most part this is the only
spot here that has a decent amount of water
but we're gonna put the wood stove
over there because that's where the jack
is and um, fire safety, yeah exactly, fire safety
one person will lay here, one person will lay here
and then we have this for our living space
Boosh, did you bring a chair? I did bring
a chair. Nice, we got chairs, no peasant life this time
no chair envy. Boosh is using the old Traxter, this is a Bombardier
which is really the same
as Can-Am, right? Yeah, yeah
so this is from the early 2000s, I was talking to Boosh's dad about
earlier today and this is uh all-time four-wheel
drive. What, what did you say was the, was the
defining factor on this one? Oh, it was like
the top towing quad of its uh year, right? It could
tow the most. I was like, oh two or something. Yeah, I think
so two or three uh in the states this is
the John Deere Buck, really? Yeah, completely different, yeah
that's crazy, same guys make it or
whatever, if it's just a different brand
you sold through, huh? Yeah, so she's a
beast. I've driven it before. The first time
the first pork inhalation trip I
drove this and it goes through anything
so very happy to have it, lots of storage
space on it too, it's a sporty tractor, I
woke up this morning I heard the wind
I was like, oh, I'm right next to the lake, I felt the same way
when me and Boosh were
driving here it was like
a complete whiteout slushy horrible snowstorm, so
we're glad it's changed. Glad the weather has changed.
Me too. So we're gonna get these
legs out before I set her down. Oh, she pinched my hand
A little bent, a little lopsided.
Alright so the cool thing about this is that all
the pieces of the pipe actually
fit inside the wood stove
and you can transport it that way. I also have a
false bottom in there. We're gonna have to make a tripod for the pipe
coming out but that's okay we'll get
this squared away and then got some
paracord in my... Oh we got a we got a thermometer.
Here I'll get started on the
tripod there for you Joe. Okay thanks man.
A couple of leaves. 5 feet, 4 feet. Neck.
Neck? Neck. Okay. Chin.
Chin. The second one. Okay.
Always aim higher. We're gonna
have a fun trip. So we got a lot of good food
to cook on this trip. I'm gonna make
stir-fry tonight and old boo she's gonna
make some pea soup tomorrow so that's
pretty slick can't get more French than that
this is the false bottom this is my Nicki Minaj
and it just prevents the
bottom of the stove from getting warped
so you put it in I store it upside down
just for space but then you put it in
this way saves the bottom from being
warped and that is made of steel hardcore
steel we want to line up the wood stove
perfectly we want
to have it pretty straight
that looks to be a good spot
for it I think it's all most
of them fit together except
for this first one so I
just want to make sure that this is all
tight fit inside the tent because I
don't want any smoke escaping
while we're in here okay I think that's a good spot
for it there. Lake effect snow?
Lake effect snow. It's snowing, snow is
coming down so we're just putting
on the finishing touches on the tent and
we've got to get our sleeping stuff in there
and get some firewood. I can't
believe, I can't believe this snow.
There's the lake down there.
Boosh is gonna whip
up this tripod for us.
Very helpful, very helpful Boosh.
Alright so I got these
chunks of wood here we're gonna make
a tripod out of this just so we can
support the chimney here
for the hot tent.
Oh it's seeming like it's raining. If I
remember correctly you weave them through
a crisscross or you go all the
way around. Applesauce. Crisscross applesauce.
Alright. So what do you think? It's good?
I think so. Alright.
Almost got it lined up.
This one might be bent
a little bit. Yeah
no. Okay. Exactly.
Park arrested. Nice.
So when I first had
this tent up
the first
time I burnt some garbage in my wood stove
and all of a sudden I had it like this and
all of a sudden it started back smoke back flowing smoke
and i didn't understand why
and i came out and this was all clogged i might even have it like
this it was all clogged like
crazy yeah even birch bark will do that i i can see yeah yeah
the little flakes that go up when
you have a bonfire how oily it is yeah
but anyways that's good when i i worked in Coatico we had a
similar tent it might have been a snow tracker
but uh we only had red pine to burn oh and we
burnt that for a week
and the cream coming out was like i'll never forget that smell you know
Do you know what the Latin name of red pine is?
Pinus resinosa.
Okay, there we go, makes sense.
One last thing, we have a shelf
if we wanna keep our drinks warm but not hot or cooking,
we can put that there, we can put them there.
But I think I'll put it on the other side
just so we don't have this impeding our walking area.
That's good, yeah man.
What do you think?
Woosh.
That's great.
All right.
That's good.
Now
we're
cold
and
got
this
all
squared
away.
Time for some supper.
You got
a plate?
Yeah, exactly.
Thank you.
You know what I meant.
You know what I meant.
That's okay.
No, no.
There's plenty.
There's too much meat.
Here, here, give me that.
I didn't give you enough meat at all.
I think
I took
way too
much.
The bowl is deceptive.
All right, okay, okay.
Made its own little sauce this time,
which I'm pretty excited about.
It looks kind of Asian-y, which I'm happy about, too.
It's good.
Oh, I know it's going to be good.
Yeah, I was just going to say, I might have an issue.
I brought a backup fast food spoon.
It might help.
Nice.
I found mine.
Mm-hmm.
Oh, yeah, potatoes are punchy soft.
Nice meat's tender happy with this.
Mm-hmm, like it, I'm thinking about
the golden dragon
Remember to tip
your server. Mm-hmm.
Do that. I enjoy using
the cast iron
It's like a, like something I feel like I'm putting time
into like using it every time I feel like it's getting better
You know what I mean, it totally will to a cowboy guy watch
He said best thing you can do for it if you really want to season deep frying
Oh, yeah, it's amazing for cast iron
you're using it for deep frying, that makes sense, I want
to do fries in it, we'll have to be super
thin and they'll have to just put enough oil
to cover them, I think, imagine fish and chips on it, yeah
yeah, fish and chippies on here, you want
to make ice cream, that'd just be amazing
oh man, you got something stuck
on the bottom there, yeah, garlic, yeah, that's okay, I haven't
found a smell on that, keeping the damps away, you want
to shut that damper please, thank you
Were you team Jacob, though,
or were you team Edward?
Jacob.
Oh,
that's
slick.
Cowboy.
Inhale
some
pork.
It has begun.
Well, good morning, folks.
How you doing?
Bush and I had a great night last night.
Slept in this morning, and we're taking our time.
This is the third installation of pork inhalation.
So we've got good bacon that Bush brought.
We've got female bacon that I have.
And we're going...
Do Americans know what female bacon is?
I think it's called Canadian bacon.
Canadian bacon?
Yeah.
It's got the cornmeal on it.
Super good.
We got bagels, eggs, the whole nine yards.
Boosh is making up some coffee.
So it's a very relaxing morning, chilling here.
And then later on, after we've got our fill,
we're going to go on an ATV ride.
Yeah.
But I am very content to hang out in this tent
and stay warm and eat some food for a while.
Nice and warm in here.
What do you think, Boosh?
It's quite nice.
I don't mind having a little bit of bacon
and basking in the heat right now.
Bacon and Baskin.
Carole Baskin.
so our food's getting cooked up nicely browning
nope we're browning the bagels and i think it's
time to put the old female
bacon on there's two there's
a bunch there's a bunch
of them all just
jammed together cook fry can you feel
my chest from the stove pipe
tell me about it i got no
shirt on yeah she warmed
up quite a bit some fresh
chicken eggs everything's
working out pretty good
Loving using this cast iron pan and Boosh is using his lid
from his Dutch oven as a pan and it has like griddle
Top on it. So it's pretty slick for cooking too
Yeah, you know I can like you got pot pan it's really big
but we do a whole bunch of different things with it
It's just kind of neat. Yeah,
I like it for this type of year or this time of year camping. Mm-hmm
In ATV and not hiking.
The ultimate breakfast sandwich
Might do the same thing cause I don't know where my spark is
Convenient.
Scoop these out for you or not yet?
Yeah, you can throw them on the plate there if you want.
Thank you. You're welcome.
Well, this is the one man coffee rig it looks like.
Tastes
like the
Husky.
Nice.
Boosh and I have been planning a trip for quite some time.
Things just kept happening.
We weren't able to get out, but finally made this happen.
I'm glad. Had a great time last night.
And I really, really enjoyed
hanging out in the tent. Just talking and
cooking up food and not
being in a rush to go somewhere.
Well it's 2 in the
afternoon now,
we've hung out
here all day,
cooked up
a lot of good
food and Boosh got the word he's got
to get back tonight so we're going to bail but we've
got to pack up and everything first.
I'll keep you guys with us on the way out,
there's a nice four wheel drive on the way
out, very pretty and scenic, I had a really good time,
it was nice to get out with Boosh
we haven't been out together for I think since the spring eh?
Yeah yeah, too long.
Yeah a long time, a long time
so it's good to get together and here's some updates and
yeah have some fun so thank you guys
for watching i really appreciate it i know this is a little bit
of a shorter video but it is what it is and we'll put up
a second video right behind this clip you
guys have a good day this just turned into such
a soupy mess over here but where we put the tent was
the perfect spot because um it's really not that bad
in there compared to out here we also diverted
the stream bush created a little little gully diverted
the stream but if you look though like
there's even underneath the stove was where it
was just the wettest it's dry leaves from the heat
and there's not like puddles in there so it's nice it's a bonus
well guys had a lot of fun it's time
to get packed up and get out of here
duty calls in the bush home and yeah we're ready to go
so very nice day very fun time
good getting together with bush again I told you guys
that I would show you the
difference between the normal Agawa Boreal 21
and the new boreal 24 same saw
but bigger deeper so you can get cut
while wider logs longer and yeah I'm
really liking it I don't I don't foresee myself using my 24
or sorry my 21 too
much too much anymore sure there'll
be some instances where it calls for but
literally this one feels lighter the bigger one feels lighter
believe it is that's
crazy bigger better
lighter pretty happy it worked a charm on this hardwood
the difference is amazing man yeah you noticed it?
yeah it made my life a lot easier with that dry maple
just breaks down just like regular I'll show you they gave me a case
they got these new cases
to put it in these cases
are pretty cool they have
separate compartments there's two compartments right here
One for your saw, and then right behind it,
there's a sleeve for extra saw blades.
I should have shown you when the saw was out.
Extra saw blades.
And also, in the very top,
there's a Velcro little pocket on the outside.
So thanks, guys, at Agua Canyon Bora 21 for sending me these saws.
I'll be sure to use them lots,
and I'll use the small one coming up soon, too.
Look, they've got different attachment points.
You can lash it.
Pretty slick, man.
pretty slick.
well Bush what
do you think mm-hmm
good times all right
we get going film the
trip
out
nice
sunny
day
good
stuff
oh
sick
what's that blue
Wow beautiful
little lake
apparently
there's some
speckled
trout in here they're out of season
but we'll come back it's beauty man yeah a
little camp spot I'm coming we're coming back here
and catching brookies man
