1 Video View·Oct 14, 2026
Now when we talk about two-wheelers
and we talk about sensibility and practicality,
chances are that you're thinking of a scooter.
But when we talk about having fun on two wheels,
chances are that you're thinking of a motorcycle.
But all of that changed
when the TVS NTorque 125 came about all those years ago,
because it brought sportiness to the practical offering.
And today, I have a scooter that only takes things forward.
But this, ladies and gentlemen, is the TVS N-Torque 150.
Now, we all know what this scooter brings to the table.
I've spent months riding it.
And now, I'm going to tell you 5 good things and 2 things
which could have been better on the N-Torque 150.
And we'll find out whether this is still
a scooter that you should consider in 2026.

because we have a very varied long-term test fleet
which includes the likes of scooters as
you are seeing it today motorcycles cruiser
motorcycles adventure motorcycles everyday cars
suvs hatchbacks and even luxury cars we test them all thoroughly
and bring you these long-term
reviews if you like it make sure you like this video
and let us know in the comments
the first thing that we liked about the N-Torque 150
of course has to be performance now this
is an N-Torque at the end of the day
so performance is something that you expect out of the scooter
and I'm happy to report that there is lots of it.
There's a 150cc engine on board, makes about 13
horsepower, about 14 newton meters of torque
but the highlight figures are not the engine
displacement, the power or the torque but it's actually the weight.
At 115 kgs, this is a light
scooter and when you combine all of these things together,
you realize this is a quick scooter.
This is a scooter that you enjoy going fast in.
There are two riding modes on offer. One makes
it docile, good for everyday commutes,
good for your calm, decent rides and at that point,
the Ntorq 150 actually changes into an everyday scooter.
However, in sport mode is where this
really unlocks a different character to itself.
The engine feels responsive, it revs up quickly,
there's a lot of acceleration on offer
and the big question for me when i was taking this scooter
as part of my long-term test assignment
was whether the novelty wears off after months of
riding it i'm happy to report that no it doesn't
this puts a smile on your face point number two
is handling now this is a scooter that's fast
in a straight line it's quick on its feet
but even as the speeds climb and they will,
you will have a good amount of confidence coming from
the scooter. 90 kilometers an hour is the sweet spot where
the scooter likes to be and even at
that speed, there's a lot of confidence from the scooter.
You can take those long sweeping clover
leaves off of those expressways and you will have a good time.
There's a lot of confidence on board.
One thing you have to keep in mind
is that there's a lot of movement in the scooter.
it feels like it's twitching
and there's a lot of things going on and there is
more feedback coming to the rider than one would like
but it will not run out of grip this is a properly fast scooter
it could have been faster
and we'll come to that in a bit but in terms of pure
handling in terms of confidence this scooter is
doing its job well point number three is refinement now
we've already established
this is a fast scooter a quick scooter and this
has good handling capabilities as well but
But none of that matters until unless you have
a refined drivetrain powering the wheels.
It won't be enjoyable if you can go fast
but you don't enjoy going fast because there are
lots of vibrations coming to the rider.
I'm happy to report that has not been the case.
This is a properly refined scooter even when you're riding it hard.
But here's the better part.
Even when you're riding it slow,
you will enjoy this scooter I would say perhaps a little
bit more.
going to buy yourself some groceries
in your society you won't mind thumping
this and going for a ride because even
when you're riding slow because you
should in areas where there are pedestrians if you do that this is a
properly refined experience
and here's the kicker when you ride it slow you
actually realize that this has
a very good engine note and this is what it
sounds like at idle and now we rev it
how did you find that exhaust note let
know in the comments.
Point number four has to be quality.
Now in typical TVS fashion, build quality,
fit and finish is something that you will be impressed with.
using these in terms of usability in terms of feedback
and so on but here's
also the better part that comes along
with the switch cluster which is the
intuitiveness of this entire experience now there
are a lot of things to go
through on in this scooter in this screen and yes it does come with a
screen in case you're wondering
but using these buttons are very intuitive
and off the bat you will know what you want
to do with the scooter and how to
make the scooter do that for you
and finally the highlight number five for me has to be the
mileage that this scooter gave to me in my riding styles now
to give you reference i'm someone who
likes having a quick riding experience
who likes taking those corners who likes taking those
overtakes and going for those gaps and trust me
and this is a scooter that will continuously egg
you on to do those things
and if you were to give in to that temptation you will be thoroughly
enjoying the riding experience as i mentioned earlier
but even then i received about 40 41
kilometers to the litre which
is impressive now let's talk about a couple of things that could
have been better on the TVS Ntorq 150
and let's start with point number one space space is
something that could be more on this scooter
but that is actually because of what's underneath you
see this is not an all-new scooter this is a scooter
that you can say is an evolved version
of the TVS Ntorq 125 and as a result the space
on offer hasn't really grown in proportion to the
performance now of course being this form factor gives it
a light weight which makes it a fun
scooter but remember if you're looking
for a spacious scooter well this may not be it because
if I am about to put both of my feet on the floor
with riding shoes on perhaps then I don't really
have much space left for anything else
and that is something that I wish wasn't the case and the last
Another side effect of it being an evolved 125
is the fact that the chassis underneath
is really compact, the wheelbase is same as the 125,
due to which the performance gain
that we get to see here,
if we get to see a little more wheelbase there, then that area
could have been even better.
Remember I said scooter feels a little twitchy at high speed,
long corners, that is because
The space between the wheels should have
been a little more in this scooter, that's what we think.
And finally, the last area where we wish things
could have been better has to be the wheels.
Now this is not a negative thing,
but perhaps this is something that we wish was better.
The reason for this is very simple,
we get to see a lot of performance in this scooter.
I feel that if we were to look at the 14-inch wheels right now,
this scooter would have reached a different league.
But of course, the price of this scooter would have increased.
But I feel that this is a price that I would have been ready to pay.
Because with 14-inch wheels,
compared to the performance level of the Antoc 125,
the performance level of the Antoc 150
with 14-inch wheels would truly be next level.
Maybe that is something that we can expect in the next update.
So let's talk about the verdict and sum up this video.
The question is, is this a scooter that you should consider even today?
And the answer to that question is a resounding yes.
The form factor, the weight, the agility,
the handling, performance, refinement
and the overall package that is the TVS N-Torque 150
is something that will continue to put a smile on your face
even after a long time
when you spend with the scooter as it did for me and i think that is a
very rare quality especially in the scooter space
these days the only other scooter that i can think
of is perhaps the ntorq 125
and remember this is a scooter that does not come with a massive jump
in price over the ntorq 125
and that's why i would say if you are thinking of buying ntorq 125
then you should definitely check out the N-Torque 150.
The only other scooter that I would say that appeals to this nature
has to be the Yamaha Aerox
and we all know how expensive that scooter is
and it becomes even more so apparent
when you take a look at the N-Torque 150.
So all in all, if you are looking for a scooter
in which you get everyday usability,
you can easily drive it in urban commuting conditions
and along with that, when that moment arrives,
you want a scooter that can go for that quick overtake
and give you that handling experience
as well then the tvs ntorq 150
is something you should definitely consider
