Kelly Clarkson CAUGHT ON CAMERA! $15,000 Bird Feud Gets UGLY

Kelly Clarkson versus the art of play magicians has become a thing. This is not a story I imagine would have tremendous amount of legs, but it does. Because we need to decide here in the court of public opinion on the internet, who's right and who's wrong, who deserves the shaming, okay? And we're witnessing, I believe, the power of Kelly Clarkson. Any other celebrity would have been crushed by this, right? Celebs have a very short leash. I mean, you know, sweet Selma Blair has, you know, MS and has medication complications, and she's getting killed. But Kelly is known for her warmth and her authenticity. She's a relatable person. That's why her talk show, you know, went for several years. Kelly posted on Saturday, just as a refresher, you know, about this store. I want to go visit this rad store I saw on Instagram. It's over in Brooklyn. I'm making a move over there. And she said she got treated like, you know, less than her pretty, pretty woman moment. The guy, you know, she says treated her like she didn't have enough money to afford the automaton bird singing bird named Molly. She wanted to buy Kelly Post. Wow, dude, you're an idiot. You just lost a huge sale. The store posted back. Molly, our one-of-a-kind singing and dancing bird automaton who plays an important role in magic shows we host here. Molly's permanently attached to the wall and she's not for sale. This is just a misunderstanding. Now, some sleuths out there corroborated that with a post from September that has been pinned at the top of the store's Instagram account showing the bird next to the words, our favorite items are not for sale. so that would seem to impugn Kelly and support the store. Kelly posts back a screenshot of a $15,000 price tag saying, so the whole conversation we had when I asked you if it was for sale whilst pointing to the, I like that she used the word whilst, huh? We don't use that enough. Whilst pointing to the price tag hanging on the wall with the title singing bird didn't happen as you elevator eyed me saying in a condescending tone, yes, it's for sale, but it costs $15,000. So if you'd like me to find something comparable for you, I can. Oh, excuse me. Do you know how rich Kelly Clarkson is with the talk show and the music and the voice? Now look, the internet is desperate to shame somebody and attack mercilessly here, except the internet doesn't know which way to go right now are we is this karen clarkson or not do we do we do we where do we go we want somebody to bleed here now the latest development from the sleuths and the coverage apparently USA Today made a move uh out to to Brooklyn went to the Art of Play store and interviewed one of the owners last night here he is we are afraid for the safety of our shopkeepers, Kelly Clarkson has put us in danger. not just our people showing up in person, but our neighbors are getting doxxed and review bombed. people are being threatened on the street. And the worst part is we didn't know this was going to happen, but Kelly Clarkson did. I would invite Kelly Clarkson to come to the shop, see a show, get whatever she wants. If she sees something that she likes and we have something comparable, we may show it to her. I can't promise we won't show her similar items if she's interested in one this is an insane misunderstanding like nothing happened in this shop to justify her scolding our shopkeeper on the way out but i could let that go you know everybody has a bad day if it is this intense to be merely mentioned by Kelly Clarkson i can only imagine how intense it is to be Kelly Clarkson every single day but things changed when she used her platform to attack us it's just it's asymmetrical social warfare. Just curious, too, did you have a chance to review surveillance, talk to the staff who were here, just to kind of see where there could have been a disconnect? When Kelly came in, the shop was crowded. She was dressed like everybody else in the shop. We treated her like a normal person, but apparently that did not live up to her expectations. It's tough. Where are we going to go? Who are we going to shame? That sort of uppity, hmm, well, it's not him. We know he's not the one that had the encounter with Kelly at this point because he said our shopkeeper who uses the word shopkeeper that this is a tell right here shopkeeper he says people have been threatened our neighbors have been doxxed I assume we get the old death threats death threats comes with everything now it's almost like I mean how are we ever going to really take a death threat seriously when death threats get thrown around you know like salutations here uh he said this is asymmetrical social warfare this is this is a perfect Brooklyn shopkeeper for you progressive Brooklyn uh unbelievable okay so i again right now i don't know Pablo Torres who's made a name for himself as uh as this is a pretty good sleuth um he somehow got a hold of the surveillance footage of Kelly shopping there's no audio on this so here we go so I'll have to provide the play-by-play for this I've not seen this yet Harry's been working on it here we go okay so there's Kelly right there yeah in the in the yellow right she's shopping around she's browsing a little bit ski here okay there is there she is okay shopkeeper in the in the hat there's Kelly in the distance. Okay, they have a little nice interaction. Seems like a pleasant conversation. Oh, this might be the part where he says, yeah, that's a little out of your league, sweetheart. Look at you and your little jeans and your yellow sweatshirt. You, you don't have to pay for this. You're a kid. Yeah, you're not worth $270 million. She's definitely not looking like Kelly Clarkson with the jeans, the baggy jeans and the backpack and the T-shirt. I mean, she looks definitely like a kid. They circle back around. Here's the shopkeeper again in the white hat and the blue T-shirt. That's him. OK, I don't see Kelly. She's sort of made her way out. There comes Kelly. Kelly has a couple of other items in her hand. She puts one of them back on the shelf. She puts the other one back on the shelf. And she's like, yeah, you know what? I don't think so. she goes over to what looks like a ouija board and now she's saying i'm just getting the hell out of here she turns back and says something this is where the interaction is yeah she's gesticulating with her hands oh she's now definitely saying you know what dude i don't want to be in your shop you're an asshole buh freaking bye those are the only words i have for you and out she goes from the store okay you can see that there is you know with with the proper analysis and play-by-play announcer of celebrities shopping that there's a problem and she's not happy uh so i can tell you this from kelly's perspective i mean she didn't make it up this is a real experience to kelly clarkson this is definitely for her oh she is on she is on the phone as soon as she leaves the store look at this she gets on her cell phone she calls her best friend. And she's like, this uppity piece of ---- storekeeper just totally thracked me. And she is pissed off. Now, Adam is, Adam says, and Adam is the shopkeeper. Now I'm using the word shopkeeper. What the hell? I've never said shopkeeper in my life. Now I'm saying it over and over again. Adam says, Adam Buck, I think his name, who owns the store. He says, the bird, because of the attention that Kelly has given us, The bird is now 15 million. He's got the bird. So that means it's not for sale still. There's no one's giving you $15 million for that tiny little yellow automaton singing bird named Molly, okay? I'd rather have the real Molly in pill form. Okay, Kelly Clarkson right now, if I had to declare who's trending and I don't think this is over, who's trending as the winning party in this showdown, in this, as he said, asymmetrical social warfare showdown. Kelly Clarkson is winning and you uppity Adam are not. Things could turn around. We'll see what happens. Fascinating. I'd love that she looked at the other tchotchkes too. She didn't even leave with anything. She was just like, no, I'm out of here.
