‘STOP BEGGING RUSSIA FOR OIL!’: Poilievre Warns Trump With ‘Energy’ War Amid Canada-US Tariff Rift

Pierre Poilievre has delivered a blunt energy message to Donald Trump, arguing that the United States should be looking north to Canada instead of turning to Russia for diesel or worrying about instability around the Strait of Hormuz.

Poilievre said America “needs energy” and Canada has it, arguing that Canadian oil, diesel production, critical minerals and tariff-free trade could make both countries more energy secure and less dependent on hostile or unstable foreign suppliers.
