Bad History in Zeitgeist: The Movie

An educational historical analysis by Dr. David Miano debunking the ancient history and mythological claims made in the viral 2007 documentary Zeitgeist: The Movie. The video examines a detailed email exchange between Dr. Miano and the film's creator, Peter Joseph, regarding widespread inaccuracies in the movie's first section. Dr. Miano utilizes official Egyptian records and historical context to systematically dismantle pseudohistorical theories popularized by Gerald Massey, demonstrating that claims equating the Egyptian god Horus directly with Jesus Christ—such as a literal virgin birth, twelve disciples, and crucifixion—are completely unfounded.
