Vintage Market Days in Plant City

Hello, I'm Charlie Belcher coming to you from Plant City today where the Strawberry Festival happens literally on the Strawberry Festival grounds. That is where you will find vintage market days happening Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. More than 100 different vendors from vintage to new, antique to unique. You never know what you might find here, but it's all going to be here. Dana, put all this together. You organize this. It's your show. You're actually here twice a year. That's right. In the spring and in the fall. That's right. April and October. And you've been doing this for about four years now. That's right. Your eighth show. I love it. It's the best job in the world. Yeah, good for you. You live in Kansas and you come to Plant City to do this twice a year. Who doesn't want to come to Florida twice a year to spend some time and bring all these amazing vendors together? Lots of people. Lots of people like to come, especially this time of year back to Florida. So what are people in for on vintage market days? There's so much to see here especially this time of year if you're looking for new holiday decor the best in boutique clothing and some of the coolest antiques and vintage that i've seen i was walking around the event yesterday just in awe of the quality of the vendors and then we've added 20 new vendors from across the country this year into a third building and it's not all necessarily knickknacks or even Joe is showing a booth over there right now that I see try our no bake cheesecakes. And I see something about soups. Yeah, it's called mad dash mixes for a reason. You definitely wanna get down here and try all of their amazing samples. They're delicious. So that's kind of fun is that you never know what you might see it. And if you come Friday or Saturday, the booths are gonna be new product. There's always been so the vendors have our our vendor parking is full of trailers. And those vendors are going to be restocking every day. And by the way, if you see some empty space right now, they're still just getting set up. This doesn't actually begin until tomorrow. So you've got all day today to put the finishing touches on it. You can also get tickets at the gate if that's your preference. One cool thing that we do is that you get a picture at any of our photo ops. And that picture gets you back in every single day. Friday is pretty special because you're going to find those first finds the the the items that the vendors put out very first and it's a good um great experience yeah yeah you get the first crack at it yeah um and but again they restock but it's fun to get those first finds that's right you want to be the first ones yeah yeah uh and then you you don't need necessarily in advance and rain or shine and no matter the weather that's right we're all inside we're inside the three buildings. We have food trucks. We have a live DJ all weekend long. Kids 12 and under are free. It's a great family event as well. And so we're here 10 to 4 on Friday and Saturday and 10 30 to 3 on Sunday.
