6 Titleist Drivers Ranked: 2016 to 2026

What's the best Titleist driver released in the last 10 years? I'm going to find out in today's video as I have a driver from each release cycle since 2016 all the way to 2026 that I'm going to put together in a tournament format to find out which driver reigns supreme. The format is very simple. I'm going to take these all out to the range first and foremost to see them based on total distance. I've only ever hit the GT, so having the opportunity to hit all of these, look at all of these it's just going to be fun and give me a bit of feedback on what Titleist has done over the last decade. I'm going to seed them based on total distance alone, one through six. One and two will get a buy. Then we're going to have a bracket format where we're going to be inside. We're going to look at three parameters to see which driver wins each head-to-head showdown. Total distance, ball speed, and dispersion. People always wanted dispersion in these tests, so I'm giving you dispersion is kind of like the tie break which driver is more accurate tighter dispersion if we have a tie or a split when it comes to ball speed and total distance i have the 917 D3 the TS3 the TSi3 the TSR3 GT3 and GTS3 all the low spinning heads from the last 10 years all of these heads were provided by Next Round Golf which is an incredible used club marketplace they helped me last year with the Callaway video, and they've helped me this year with the Titleist video. So we're going to see some pretty good numbers when we get inside, outside range balls. The numbers aren't going to be great, but that's simply for seeding. so let's see how these drivers seeded out on the road first up was the TSR3 for the only reason that it was on the shaft that came in the box for next round the rest were all loose heads that's why I hit this one first starting things off TSR3 I think I've ever looked at this or hit this but that looks just classic Titleist baby high spinners gosh they feel good and out there I'm not looking at the numbers I'm literally screenshotting it so that I have reference on how to seed them afterwards. 917 D3 was next and oof, that does not look very good. That is not, that's not, that's not for me. Ooh, that sound, piercing, felt really good. Right off the toe, but that was wicked. Not bad though, not bad though. Then I arbitrarily grabbed the TS3 out of the bag. That's big, but it looks pretty good. Definitely never saw this in my days. This is the first time for sure. Ooh, that felt really good. pulled the crap out of it but that felt good that's that classic Titleist feel that I remember from back in the day the 909 or as far back as the 975 983 oh dude this is this feels good though I don't know how old it is but it feels good then it was GT3 and there's a lot of hype and and buzz about this driver and my goodness this thing looks and feels amazing wow that is a gorgeous driver I'm excited to see how it feels lots of spin though granted they're all range balls they're all spinning a lot i'm not so good so good then it was TSi3 from 2020 that looks man Titleist make good looking drivers stuck back on everything a little bit today but they're all doing the same thing oh that was a bit better i hit that off the toe and that went so straight that's the best feeling of everyone so far golly nice last but not least the GT3 which is the only head that I've ever hit prior to this range session it's it's gorgeous it's absolutely gorgeous oh my bloody perfect wow wow wow wow whoops that's gonna bring the average down so our seeding is set the first seed is the TSR3 the second seed is the GT3 we'll put that over here third seed the GTS3 fourth seed 917 D3 surprisingly enough TSR3 to TSR3 is the sixth seed so one and two are getting a bye our first bracket matchup which is going to be three drives again in the quarterfinals then four drives in the semifinals then five drives in the finals and these are well-struck drives i'm not just taking how's they come i want good drives for this to give you and me the best data to show what these drivers do so the first quarter final bracket is GTS against TSR3 TSR3 coming in with roughly 169 miles of ball speed total of 301 this thing was pretty dang solid it didn't perform well on the range but in here it performed quite well GTS we know it's a fast driver so it takes it in ball speed by two and a half miles let's say but it spins more again this is all for me with the best shaft but these are all set at neutral they're all nine degrees like it's they're not dialed but the dispersion my goodness the dispersion for this thing is really really impressive so you have a fast driver that is very accurate so it moves on to the semi-finals TSR3 you have been eliminated even though a great showing really great showing in the quarterfinal Next up is the fifth, fourth showdown, which is TSR3 against 917D3, so two of the older models. We see a drop in ball speed, and I think this was the era where Titleist was being a little bit criticized for not making fast drivers when the other companies were starting to really hone in on ball speed, and we see that. The ball speed on these two is not very good. It's basically the same 917D3 gets it by 0.2 and 917D3 gets it in total yardage the dispersion both those circles are good just left of center so 917D3 is a clean sweep in its quarterfinal match so the fourth seed and the third seed so basically five and six are out so now we're moving on to the semi-final match so the first semi-final match we're gonna go TSR3 the number one seed against 917D3 the fourth seed so fourth seed goes first and as expected the ball speed difference between these two is very very noticeable four drives well struck drives TSR3 to me feels awesome feels really really good looks really really good this thing sounds better inside than it does outside but TSR3 takes it in ball speed total it takes it as well they both spin roughly the same it's really interesting through all this bracket they're all spinning a little high for me only a few were staying under 3000 consistently i would see 3000 but again if i dialed these maybe you could make these things pop a little bit more but just interesting to see pretty good ball speed in the newer title of stuff like in the last three let's say but the spin still is there but maybe that's why they're kind of really really consistent and accurate drivers because this TSR3 i mean look at that circle that is an incredible dispersion across four drivers but TSR3 has moved its way to the finals the number one seed from the seeding is in the final matchup but this is the one this is like the the semi-final matchup that i think everybody wanted to see and especially me not knowing much about Titleist over the years it's cool to see the last two years of releases which have had the most buzz be pitted against each other so I hit the higher seed first which was the GTS and it was awesome the GTS3 like awesome but then I hit the GT and I thought it was it the GT3 was so good for me in the little b-roll you can't quite hear me saying it because music playing i'm like this is it this is the best driver for me the numbers were so stinking good i only saw over 3,000 spin once this GT3 for me is amazing and i literally took it off i'm like well it's going to the semifinals but then i had to look at the data and look at this data GTS3 more ball speed which is what it has been billed to be it's billed to be faster than GT and it absolutely is but look at the difference in total this thing got it this thing got it in droves in terms of total distance so the tie break is dispersion and the dispersion of the GTS3 takes it this was the best matchup this was unbelievable hitting these two drivers i can see why people are loving Titleist drivers in the last since 2024 my goodness these things are phenomenal but here we go this is our final GTS3 against TSR3 so 2024 against 2022 these are both really really good drivers so i hit the lower seed first which is GTS3 but those numbers are so good just the spins a little high but if i were to like tune that and fit that my gosh this thing looks amazing feels amazing and the numbers are so stinking good but then if i go into this it made it interesting that's for dang sure because literally this gets it by 0.3 miles in ball speed but tsi3 gets it in total because it's spinning a little bit less now our tie break is dispersion once again and gts3 takes it in dispersion the gts3 is a little left of center but it's a tighter circle so it's kind of like it's more predictable it's tighter dispersion be it a slight pull let's say gts3 is fast and it's incredibly accurate forgiving they have made an unbelievable driver with this and like i said i've only ever hit gt at the pga show it hit none of these drivers i've seen friends use these drivers they look amazing they sound amazing but gts3 without a doubt is the best Titleist driver in the last 10 years but GT and TSI and even TSR3 have are really really good but this thing in terms of speed and accuracy unmatched and the fact that it won basically because of that accuracy in its semi-final and final match that is impressive stuff let me know do you use this thing do you use any Titleist drivers do you agree that this is the best Titleist driver released in the last 10 years and if you are looking for some used ones because these are all going right back to next round head to that link below 10% off your purchase from next round but also 20 additional credit if you're trading anything in that was a lot of fun We'll see you in the next video.
