The Simdi dance comes from Ossetia. It is built on slow and precise movements or pairs. The main beauty of this dance lies in the rhythmyc, unified rotation of the rows of dancers, the alteration and contrast of their black and white costumes. A man performing solo part with a woman dances on his toes, which is one of the most difficult choreographic tricks. Georgian ensembles in Georgia choreographers make a great contribution to the development of Simdi dance, its popularization and worldwide adversiting.
